It is a good hobby though, would any of us know the politics and businesses of Mali, other parts of the world mining terminology, Lithium and the various ways it is extracted etc, without investing in this share.
When this share is through its initial growth phase we could be investing and learning about anything in any part of the world.

Only king preliminary activities in quarter 4, no wonder we did the DMS first, we will have a similar wait from the DMS firing up and the second plant work.

I did not see that company in any of the optimisation RNS or interviews.
They could still be part of the build as they are an engineering company.
I seem to remember something very early on with Mali Lithium, now Leo Lithium. That will have timed out too.
I think the scale of the two sites has surprised everyone.

Agree clapa, it will be interesting to see which option we go with, that company must be in the lead. If they are not, I wonder if they would buy out Suay Chin? I was surprised that they did not make that move anyhow, unless the offtake principles are not binding enough.

I see car manufacturers are giving lump sum advances as an end user to mines and other producers large payments relative to very small potential output sources, recovered from the first tonnage delivered to them a few years in the future.
The following weeks are going to be tense with excitement.

Asllan, it is a possibility, I am not sure of the distance between the DMS plant and Leo Lithium's planned plant site.
Leo Lithium's output I think is estimated at 500,000 tonnes per year, I think at a cost of over 250m, which is why they start producing after our DMS plant.
Actually if it was Ganfeng then the DMS plant change also makes sense, get the whole place running properly and transportation sorted before the big tonnes arrive, if both plants were producing on the current plans it would be over 800,000 tonnes after Kodal second phase.

Clapa, so am I, we have to get off the starting blocks as a miner, as we all know that is after the finance is secured.
While Bernie inspires confidence with his number of options on the table, all of us are ready to move to the next stage so we can have a new topic of discussion and look to the next major inflexion point.
We must never forget the scale of this company though, it dwarfs the other projects in geographic size and the number of lithium and Goldfields so it is likely by nature to take a little longer.

Yes agreed Clapa and I know you are a Kod supporter so no disagreement.
However take a long look through the very good Leo lithium website, the mine which is right next door to ours, they are well ahead in terms of proving the resource on ALL of their 100km square land, but production is likely to be after us, they are going straight to a huge plant, we are two stage.
They are only the finance step ahead of us, they have the funding, we are negotiating ours as we type.

We have 97km of land in the mining licence, not all of the resource in the 97km accounted for in our figures, we then have land of over 200km square near their mine just in the early stages of drilling, so far giving figures similar to our 97km square patch

Look at the size of Leo lithium we are equal in physical size on our first patch alone.

Leo Lithium owns nothing but the 100km square. Look at their figures.

We have the additional lithium land and all of the Goldfields too.

Nimble Kodal is not, but will it be big?

Steve has had success after success opening and operating mines including lithium.

Read the Leo lithium figures, look at their market capitalisation, will we follow?

After the finance it will be brilliant.
Leo Lithium only has the one 100km square plot, a further advanced drilling program etc and greater proven resource. But we have only confirmed part of our 97km square and we have a further 200km square.
They have the finance in place as we all know and I think they are on a market capitalisation of over 600m? Nowhere near production.
Exciting times.
