Regarding Leo it appears that the post on here regarding SP Angel citing a crossover with Kodal appears to be untrue. I have been looking everywhere for a reason for something to affect us and can find nothing (except possible increase in royalty which we already knew)

On the 17th of July Leo shipped their first ore, on the 18th they appear to have received correspondence from the Mali government and this created the halt.

Tonight after midnight we should hear what was in that letter.

It may simply be rules about moving material, there are loads of rules here about moving material, they may have made a mistake.

Bottom line none of that, as onlyking said, affects us.

Motley Fool could never have got something incorrect by any chance?

No other company in Mali has issued an RNS. So looks like a Leo Lithium specific announcement.

Could someone provide the link to SP Angel which mentions a crossover with Kodal please. I have not seen this.

Obvious crossover is the West Bougouni purchase.

But Kodal is turning into a big monster, which unfortunately means slow and boring.

In my response to you earlier you were talking about shareholders generally, my response was to those types of shareholder you raised.

Danners I think they have to be told. I am not quite sure how it will work, a sale and distribute the money? Give shares equally and sell the rest?

Either way it is a big chunk of shares that shareholders need to be aware of.

Of course it could be something completely different.

There is nothing at all in that or any other communication from the company which mentions anything at all.

Certainly not the government as earlier communicated.

My guess is that Firefinch are not persuing a gold interest, therefore Leo Lithium shareholders are owed some cash.

But it could be something else, we will see.

Regarding the share suspension at Leo, I think the shareholders are in for a bonus from Firefinch.

Money never sleeps, Stark are new to lithium mining, they are trying to break into the market.

Their reputation in their main business will be unaffected.

But they could be down a lot of cash.

DrP, last Friday was 3 months after Hainan completed their part of the process, before assets could start to be reregistered between companies, simple reregistering of assets takes 3 months over here, so we are now right in the window.

On companies house changes are occurring, we can see them.

So no worries.

A poster early today posted an Australian Motley Fool story which had the quote symbols above what Leo Lithium are supposed to have said, I found the Motley site via a search engine, so they were not lying or fabricating a web page.

It is just the Leo Lithium quote is nowhere to be found. Hot Copper an ASX board cannot find it either.

That was the reason for all of these odd threads.

Clapa yes I agree. It is much the same as here considering scrapping cash, it would reduce drug sales, stop illegal workers in cash businesses etc.

Ore is all of the African nations problem, digging it up illegally and crossing borders then selling for cash. No royalties, no tax and putting cash into dangerous people's hands.

Look what happened in Kenya with them turning a blind eye to Somalian pirates.

The royalties of all countries are constantly reviewed it is just a tax in everything but name.

Plus nobody knows why. It could be anything, a buyout even, who knows we will see.

The article does not say that it is related to the government deciding what to do with ore.

Ore is a problem in all poor nations it is smuggled over borders for cash.

Likely as in Zimbabwe it will be banned on small scale and special licences temporarily issued to large mines as they are required for plant design.

Leo Lithium did not need ore sales before in their plans so it would simply be a revert back to plan A scenario if ore was an issue.

Loads of discussions in the African nations about this, Zimbabwe addressed the issue already and laid down rules so it is a good source if anyone wants to read up on it.

As far as Kodal goes we are shipping spodumene not ore once running.

Red trade, Leo lithium is going directly to huge flotation plants which is why Kodal with their DMS plant even though starting well after Leo is likely to be in production before Leo.

We already have the sharing agreement you describe.

This is identical to your own share's country Zimbabwe and relates to ore.

Kodal is not shipping ore.

Leo Lithium did intend shipping ore but it depends what Mali decides whether they can or not.

Ore is being used by criminals.

But you already know all the background to this because it has already happened in Zimbabwe.
