Stark also said they can do nothing about the quality of the material entering the plant. You could simply take that as factually true or maybe a hint of a potential issue.

If you join that up to opening a new cut in a different area and Canmax deciding not to put any more money in, you could come to a different conclusion.

But like most of the wiser people are saying, wait and see what comes out of the plant and see after due diligence if another party is willing to take over the cash liability.

You have to turn this round and ask the question, with lithium so valuable, what was a big enough issue for them to take this action?

Hall123, they have pulled out, only the FM stopped it from triggering the repayment period.

Even if they continue with the repayment after the FM is no longer in force, they retain the offtake, they do not lose it.

A third party must show interest and be willing to buy in for more than the Canmax liability, question is, with Canmax's share of offtake not available, what will they want for their cash?

They seem intent on doing so but keep their offtake anyhow.

The big plus for shareholders is that if Canmax has very good reason to get out, if they broadcast it a third party probably would not come in and repay their liability. Therefore Canmax would lose out.

So they are likely to remain silent and not contradict anything George says.

Unless they decide they want Prem to go under and try and get Zulu from the administrator.

It depends whether Canmax see the Zulu site as the issue or Prem.

The time (I think) is simply reregistering assets, simple ones take around 3 months on average, which as fate would have it, would mean today as I think it is 3 months since Hainan completed their part in April.

But that is our average not all of them and I have absolutely no idea whatsover how long the same process takes in Mali. Because they are doing it in two countries, the majority in Mali, we can see the British companies are prepped ready to go.

I don't think the mining dept will be holding them up, it has an outside chance of being the tax office but more likely just how long the process takes.

Only a discussion, but no doubt at the end it will be a 5% increase.
