Today's downturn could be a read across from the discovered problems at Ted Baker possibly. Other clothing retailers also down - Mark & Spencer, Next, French Connection.

Maybe it's my age but I don't remember BooHoo having to rescue a near bust PLT.
I think we paid quite a lot of money for it and the majority of shareholders were somewhat miffed that we only got to buy 2/3rd rather than the whole shebang.
Are you sure you're not thinking of Nasty Gal? That was bust but it wasn't being run by anyone connected to BooHoo at the time.
Gotmeister - from company's RNS 14 December 2016 confirming acquisition of PLT:-
· The 34% retained by PLT management will be subject to the management team remaining with PLT over the five-year period to 28 February 2022, and achieving demanding revenue and EBITDA targets
· At 28 February 2022, the boohoo Group will have the option to acquire this remaining 34% at market value
Depends on where you are gettingt your "buys" " sells" information. It's generally notoriously unreliable. I've often bought or sold shares and seen the computer guess wrongly and my trade appear as the opposite of what it actually was.
Not sure I see much reason for him to buy any meaningful number of shares. His financial future is already very heavily linked to progress of BooHoo share price so already highly incentivised and I can't see him buying a few would make much difference to long term share price performance.
Kong1 - No-one really knows whether the trades are buys or sells. The computer takes account of what the posted bid and offer price are at the time of trading and if the price at which the trade is made is above the mid point then it shows as a buy (blue) if it's below the mid point is shows as a sell (red) and if it's exactly at th mid point it can't decide so it shows as black.
The person actually buying or selling obviously knows.
I've often made buys that show as sells because the market maker has a wide spread and is prepared to sell at below the mid point.
