Just adding to those statistics I posted last night.

They have just announced that the R-Rate has reduced today to 0.8 to 1.0

That statement is incorrect istock about deaths continuing to rise.

The death rate fell from 1820 to 1290 yesterday.

Vaccinate people and give them a vaccination passport and there will be plenty countries in this world will take the UK tourism pound note.

Plenty pent up demand out there as was shown only a week ago.

Vaccine optimism will only grow further as the Mass testing regime continues to ramp up, vaccination increase and the key numbers continue to fall.

Infection rate has been trending down for about 5 days
Hospitalisation rates were down last night.
Mortality fell from 1820 to just over 1200 last night.
Vaccinations were just under 5 Million which is equivalent to 1/3 of those targetted in the first 4 cohorts.
The R-rate just announced also as falling to 0.8 to 1.0.

Present measures appear to be working and all the above numbers are what will be digested in a few weeks time when it comes to deciding if present lockdown restriction get eased or
if travel corridors get reopened.

All eyes on the prime Minster at 4.30p.m. for what he has to say.

I find it funny that whilst we are actually doing all that is required to control and cure the virus some wish to play with the share price.

Indeed westwood747. Lockdown looked like it was working last night from the statistics and that needs to continue.

Ironically whilst the Uk is in a position of envy and now starting to impact things then the MM's have wished to present value on quite a few stocks. I took some in TUI today as a trade, something I don't normally do but with it having fallen about 16% compared to much lesser falls for airlines and Jet2. it was rude not to.

Hopefully we regain todays fall as we should be up to half of Cohorts 1-4 vaccinated by about Tuesday / Wednesday.

Or maybe some of his shares got hit with his comments yesterday. All he should have said is that any action we take on easing restrictions will be based on the science and the numbers and getting things down and that it is too early to say. Everybody needs to do their part and adhere to restrictions.

Incidentally can you actually believe that family who have just held a wedding with 400 attendees reported in the press today. How irresponsible!! £10,000 fine.

Nolan will be the first of many.

Cineworld in due course should consider fighting back against the Studios by branching out and embarking on bank rolling a film or two of its own. They have I believ done so for low budget European films.

Teaming up with the likes of Nolan would ensure success. It would imho be £200M-£300Million well spent and that would reap multiples of that back in return.

Never a better time to book a holiday imho for most are including free Covid cover re changing dates and even destinations with many companies.

I'm sure you will find as the present lockdown and vaccine rollout continues, that same vaccine optimism will resurface. In larger volume as people see the effects of the vaccine working.

Lockdown is aimed at suppressing the spread and it is working with the Infection rate trending down at the moment. Ultimately both lockdown measures and vaccines will combine in effect.

I agree totally with you easing will take place at a faster rate than most think due to both hospitalisations and mortality falling.
