*A further 32 new Mass Testing Centres just came online today and I now make that 52 in total if the new ones are added to last weeks 20. Blackpool Tower ballroom, The Peaky Blinders studio to name but a few. The target was 50 by the end of Jan so they have achieved that.
*2.5 Million vaccinated in the last week (they only needed 2M per week to vaccinate all 4 cohorts by 15th Feb)
* Now averaging 250 vaccinations per minute.
*78% of over 80's now vaccinated.
*Questioned on 10 day Quarantine Hotels and did nothing to dismiss it whilst at the same time stating it was already illegal to leave the country unless you had one of the exceptions. I thought we might get a stear but will have to wait for tomorrows announcement.

Tondy, I have always cautioned against weekend figures and its in my previous postings. However the trend line is starting to move the right way on many of those indicators now, whilst all the time vaccinations are ramping up.

I won't comment too much on tonight's Briefing due to time pressures but I thought it was cautious but very positive briefing.

The Oil price isn't down today to merit any fall so it must just be down to general market sentiment and market algorythms knocking the share price.

The markets have reacted as if this a brand new policy decision placed on full planes of returning holidaymakers.

The reality is that presently it affects very few people, who are already staying at home and in effect self isolating already.

I'll smile if now given the delay in announcement and the fact there are five options being considered if we stay as we are.

Further story today about having to Quarantine in hotels for 10 days on return, when in actual fact you already have to self isolate for 10 days as it is and shouldn't really be travelling in the first place.
