It has also been having Stage 2 trials in both Brazil and South Africa so should have key findings on any new variants also.

The UK has 30 million doses of this on order with an option to buy a further 22Million doses and it is being produced at the moment for rollout shortly after Emergency Use Approval.

FunInvestor, the reported shorts on CINE have imho borne absolutely no relation to the actual amount shorted. They just keep it under 0.5% to avoid notifying the FCA and can utilise several companies. You also have to realise that some short positions are actually created to enable the shorter to go long, and in much larger amounts. It's 3% to report a share holding.

Happy with that

Other figures slightly up and deaths should take a week or two to start to fall.

I see it completely differently.

Whereas previously we had no date to look forward to, we now have that and it is sooner than I thought.

We also know the statistics that are being monitored to decide on unlocking and the further rate of progress on this will decide things.

Those Top 4 cohorts account for 88% of mortality. Lockdown suppression and this combined should put us in a good place. By end of March 9 cohorts should have been vaccinated and accounting for 99% of mortality.

I'd say we may see tiered reopening around the 8th March and in line with schools reopening - but it is all dependant on continued effectiveness in bringing down Infection rates, hospitalisation rates, death rates, The R-rate and with no variant shocks.

If those start dropping fast then it could be at any time therefater as the pressure from the press would be relentless.

After the 8th March. That's 3 weeks after the first 4 cohorts have all been vaccinated and the vaccine effects kicked in.
