Thanks for posting those articles.

If one thing has come out of the Reddit / wallstreetbets movement it is that ordinary shareholdersreverse what the short positions would wish., with communication, can coordinate and fight back against overdone and manipulative shorting. Melvin Capital and a few other Hedge Funds got short squuezed and lost many Billions of dollars as a result. They understand what shorting is about and simply. No longer is it the licence to manipulate and print money under a deep wallet guarantee. There will be many other stocks and shares targeted as time progresses.

I am not an advocate of chasing valuations to sky high levels, although I would not complain if it happened but am more for seeing things re-balancing and establishing more higher equilibriums in any share price as a result.

Vaccines are there now, being rolled out double quick and are working so any gamble shorts imho are looking a bit over-exposed.

Those thinking that Hedge Funds actually know better than your average joe might be surprised and whereas some see them as the enemy in actual fact they can present grossly oversold status. Here is an example of one such Hedge Fund, not doing too well.

PM is leading the Cornavirus Briefing at 5p.m. tonight and we should be back to non-weekend numbers tonight.

So this purported big sell off didn't materialise last night. All no doubt trying to angle a penny here or there for a re-entry.

It's probably to do with good progress being made with all the vaccines, vaccinations progressing well and on track and those key variables coming down. For it is ultimately those that will get us back to reopening doors. Vaccine support just wasn't there on previous lockdowns. This time it is.

Control it, Cure it, Unlock and Reopen.

Just to let you keep weighing things up in your minds as things progress and you keep dyor.

*15th February: The date the Government expects the first 4 Cohorts to have all been offered a jab. 15 Million targeted and that should take roughly 88% mortality out of the system. On track.

* 22 February: Date the PM plans to set out his Roadmap for "Unlocking" things. This is dependent on several key variables that they are publishing daily.

* 28th Feb is the present date banks have extended its waivers through until whilst the company explores further options "with scope for further extensions to the waivers as this process continues".

* 8th March is presently the earliest date that the PM envisages schools reopening. Nicola Sturgeon yesterday brought forward by two weeks Scotland's reopening of schools to 22nd Feb.

*8th March date of the new CEO's arrival.

*End of March the Government expects the Top 9 Cohorts to have been vaccinated and in theory taking 99% mortality out of the present statistics.

*30th April is the date the company envisages that the present RCF runs out should the present lockdown persist. If you check the company accounts it shows that the present RCF facility had a £100M accordion facility tagged on to it when it was agreed. That I suspect is for the banks to decide.

* Just another timeframe to ponder amidst all of this. The company has previously made good use of access to Covid Corporate Financing Facility (CCFF) funding but has stated in recent communications that it no longer qualifies (Probably due to the covenant breaches). That said, it is possible to reapply for access to this funding and it is for the Treasury then considers it. The timings state you if you reapply you should be in receipt of a decision within 28 days.

Slide in any other dates if I have missed them.

That is why for me it is important to keep watching vaccination rollouts, key statistics and any current developments.

The share price is holding up really well, for a two website company.

If we get some continued growth in the Card factory website can we hive it off for half the £1.5 Billion to £1.6 Billion present valuation.

That alone would be worth 6 to 7 times the present market cap of the company.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Virgin Money rose well yesterday also.

Saddened to hear of this tragic news tonight.

This was an absolute true gent of a man, full og absolute humility and who raised a simply astonishing £39 Million pounds to help the NHS and to combat the very virus that has sadly taken his life. Who received an astonishing 140,000 Birthday cards for his 100th Birthday. probably most of them bought from CARD. He also got a knighthood and had a Number 1 in the charts.

It's 431p Bid and 432p offer so it must be about £1.5 Billion to £1.6 Billion in market cap now. It looks well overvalued.

It only serves to show just how undervalued CARD is.
