Here's today's Coronavirus Stats for anyone interested.

Vaccinations are up again to over 450k jabbed in one day.
Noticeably though today both the Death and Hospitalisation rates are noticeably down today, and will be bringing thuse trend lines well down. These are key determinants of any "Unlocking" of the economy and shop doors again. Vaccine backed the next lifting of restrictions should be permanent as the delivery plan continues to expand and expand and encapsulate more and more age groups.

Not surprised in the slightest that the Governor of the Bank of England is now coming out with bullish comments. All are monitoring the same stats we are.

From the RNS I see.

The thing is that they and Goldman do it so often that normally by the time they notify you of any decrease, they have already loaded back up again. You'll see the pattern in the holdings RNS's

It might explain the movements over the last few days.

It is ultimately that which will win the day and which should see us back in the 80's then the 90's and beyond. That being contingent on the vaccine hitting its Top 4 Cohort target and if deaths start to noticeable fall.

Vaccines I think will hit the target and the death rate should be starting to fall in a week to 10 days.

They Government picked the 15th February for a review date based on it being a realistic date imho.

Sold too early then it would seem. Can you just pop up your contract note so we can check that you actually did hold shares in the first place.

We'll get back into the 80's soon enough, as the vaccines keep rolling out and the science keeps firming up.

The thing I find most amusing in all of this is that my airline stocks and the likes of Carnival the cruise operator, have all increased in value by about 10 percent over the last 3 to 5 days on the continued success of the vaccine programme and it pointing to things "Unlocking" and reopening again. Strangely, not here though whereby for some reason things have suddenly got noisy once again. For whatever reason?

It used to be the case though that such contrarian moves in the share price and acompanying "noise" generated much large volumes of sellers. That seems to be less the case now.

Jangho having acquired such a large holding and constantly adding in recent weeks and months has maybe causing competition in the market for any surplus shares and that has steadied the ship.

It might also be the case that many are keeping track of vaccine progress for themselves and can see things are on the heading on the right track, and they are happy to continue to hold or are topping up on any dips.

We can argue all day around the red herrings and c@ rp and disruptions of the ptp's on here but it is really hard to argue against solid medical scientific data and facts.

Ultimately it is those facts and data that will inform the PM and the Cabinet when they decide on any "easings"

I keep saying the same Solihullmike and the media and public questions are there all the time during these Government Briefings for all to see.

It's interesting that Rishi Sunak the Chancellor and the Business Ministers like Alok Sharma are also already starting to shouting their corner. Sunak controls the countries finances and knows best of all the tre impact of all of this on the countires finances. Many conservative and other parties MP's will be of the same volition as all have constituencies with businesses closed, the potential that more may close permanently if things prolong, higher unemployment across the country than they would wish amongst their constituents and many, many, many on the breadline with furlough money.

Just imagine how "intense" those questions will become when those "vaccine effects" kick in and start to reduce mortality much further.

Give your shares away of you wish. The bulletin board noise is complimentary and indicates there are plenty eager beavers wanting them. (Paid to posts)

Its is medical science that will win the day and that interesting stuff out of Israel lets you see that.

The main show here is vaccines for it is they that will "Unlock".

I think we can all understand any falls if we are not hitting milestones.

But it is in fact the opposite.

We are hitting all the milestones.

Over 10 million vaccinated of the 15M in the first 4 cohorts.

Infection rates noticeably down
Hospitalisations now falling in the same way.
Death rates showing falls and vaccine effect to come.

Stick with the programme as it is vaccines that will "Unlock"

It is the main event. Both here and in the USA.

And its on track.

Thanks for reposting that Israel data NOFEAR which the PM alluded to in last nights Coronavrius Briefing.

That data is absolutely compelling and the patient amongst us who know the science behind the UK's Vaccination delivery plan ant that by targeting the highest risk groups that the same effects are coming.

Nearly 750,000 received both jabs
thereafter
531 tested positive for coronavirus
leading to
only 38 hospitalisations
and
3 deaths (and with those they could have contracted the infection earlier).

More chance of getting hit by a bus.

Our vaccination program is on well on track with Over 10 Million yesterday and 2/3 of the way there for the first 4 Cohorts vaccinated) so we simply patiently wait for the mortality numbers to fall further.

If they wish to allow us cheaper access points as we keep passing the milestones along the way and in the knowledge we know what is coming then it is rude not to.

After last nights Cornavirus Briefing it is quite clear from Chris Witty that we are now over the peak and that to date the effects are only Lockdown related effects and vaccine effects are still to come. Indeed CW was asked that very question and gave the above answer.

The PM interestingly also made mention last night in the same briefing and Q and A "that there is interesting stuff coming out of Israel". I don't know if you read it but this material I posted previously. That evidence from Israel is manifest that vaccines work and are reducing mortality. That's after 1st dose and also after 2nd dose.

Just keep watching the death numbers for larger drops in mortality to appear. That is what CW and Boris are watching for.

That will be the key to "Unlocking" and tiered National reopening.

The vaccine rollout is very much on track and its nice to see that Airline and leisure stocks have already been recovering nicely.

The PM last night mentioned that it was looking like a tiered National easing of restrictions as opposed to regional.

Imho shops will be reopening before airspace.

*AZ vaccine immunity kicks in after 3 weeks + lasts right through to the 2nd dose 12 weeks later and data recently released shows that it reduces transmission.

*CW - Vaccination effectiveness should first show in Death numbers

*Confirmation that they are monitoring and analysing Vaccination data and the links to hospitalisations and deaths thereafter.

*Question Re Socialising after vaccine – CW reiterated that there was a period where initially there is no protection. Takes about 2 weeks for immunity to build up. Need smore evidence on trasmissibility.

*Questioned on Hotel Quarantine and likened to turning the heating on and leaving the windows open. BJ: One of toughest regimes in the world without totally cutting ourselves off. Reiterated present measures.

BJ stated that he was seeing lots of good stuff from Israel. (NO FEAR posted this previously. Is it possible to re-post) Reiterated the logic for the time frames. 3 weeks after all Cohorts 1-4 let immunity levels be acquired. So that’s why March 8th + stated that the Schools need 2 weeks notice. Shares everyone's anxiety on this to go faster but stated that this time he doesn’t want to be forced into reverse.
*Was further questioned on these dates and whether it was fixed. Upon which he stated that they would adopt an open minded approach on this and based on analysing the data. BJ's own words were that he feels as though we will be easing restrictions nationally. Hinted that they will be going down nationally in Tiers. More on the 15th Feb. Timetable for the earliest dates will be on his Route Map on the 22nd Feb.

*CW questioned on Death rates coming down and are we seeing vaccination effects in these figures? In short his reply was that it was too early. His belief is that it is down to Lockdown only at the moment the next 2 to 3 weeks to see vaccine impacts.

My own view fwiw is given the subtleties and references throughout off both BJ and CW is that they are waiting to see the Death rate noticeably dropping and are expecting this to keep falling thereafter. First slip of the tongue and mention of tiered National as opposed to regional easings.
