Anything can happen and imho BOA are definitely trying to accumulate stock but there is not much out there being freed up and I personally can't see Jangho letting it slip much lower. I did myself top up this afternoon.

All ahead of vaccine backed reopening for CINE, with good opening attendances for Godzilla v Kong, and a superlative slate of movies that will bring many pound notes and dollars rolling in the CINE tills that have simply not been there for the bulk of a whole year.

By end of May, and incemental big steps starting again this Friday CINE will have gone from nil cinemas open to 90%.

A penny here or there won't make a blind bit of difference come the money that will have flowed through the tills by the end of July. Sooner or later it has to happen.

LTHCine I am really sorry to dampen your story slightly on the virion masks but these masks only have a limited certified usable life which I think is 7 or 8 hours whereas those being produced by HeiQ not only trump, but double trump and triple trump the virion ones. They have had these certified and been selling them for months and have sold over 1 billion of these and are streets ahead with their own manufacturer and the technology is now being used in mattresses, laundry, hotels for public surfaces and workwear etc and also now in gymnasiums and they have and end to end partner that offers the product to airports and airlines and Virobloc is only one string of many revenue streams that they have with smart technology. Very interesting and well managed listed company (HEIQ) that has been doing good expanding deals and aims to increase revenues from 30M to 300M.

I have recently bought 3 of them and aim to make full use of them when cinemas reopen as they are best in class and last considerably longer. The ones I have can be rewashed up to 30 times and have Virobloc permanent on them. Craghoppers, Lee Cooper and others have them with the Virobloc branded into them.

I've mentioned it for I happen to know that at one of their shopping centres at Silverburn in Glasgow there is a pretty big Cineworld inside. FI can probably confirm.

They are saying they had 75% Rent collection which in a pandemic is marvellous but also importantly regardiing demand that retail footfall is up 60% on the last time things reopened after the last lockdown and they are also talking about 30% rent discounts for tenants, and other landlords obliging similarly.

There will be many other Cineworld movie theatres in these large Shopping Centres or indeed Retail parks be they HMSO owned, British land owned, Land Securities owned or whoever else

The CEO can't be too far off deciding what to do with the large cash pile. Share buybacks and an element of a special dividend would be most welcome.

The intention of Gold Gym's seems to be to roll the HeiQ ecosystem out across all the gym's in California as they reopen. I count 23 including one located in Hollywood, so I'd say high end.

The good thing about it is that the Virobloc on surfaces lasts 90 days so in theory there should be a recurring revenue aspect to this.

Good article this one as well for it highlights the end to end benefits of the Virobloc Ecosystem. It's the same principle that was being used in the Verbier hotel and which can also be transposed to many other work and customer environments such as airports and airplanes.
Nice to see the expanding uses and America is a very big market place.

Sharecast News) - Hammerson said footfall at its shopping centres was 60% higher than in the week after the first lockdown ended in June 2020 as shoppers returned to stores.

Non-essential shops were allowed to reopen in England and Wales on 12 April after three months, leading to queues outside some leading retailers. Struggling store groups and retail landlords are hoping for a spending splurge and a sustained recovery after a year of lockdowns.

Mark Bourgeois, Hammerson's managing director for the UK and Ireland, said: "It's been a really encouraging start. After an incredibly difficult year our teams have worked really impressively to get these places to be safe and welcoming for our brands and customers.

"In footfall terms we've been 60% up this week on the equivalent week after the June lockdown so clearly an encouraging number."

75% rent collection is significantly better than I had expected given 4 months of complete lockdown. British Land by comparison only managed 54% for the retail side of its business.

Rent abatements and reductions is also good idea to retain existing retail tenants and to attract others to rebuild, provided its targeted.

That would tend to confirm my own initial findings whereby I said it was like Saturday shopping crowds on the Tuesday I did my retail therapy.

Further UK reopening refers to further reopenings of restaurants, pubs and cinemas in our premises. Should help steer the 17th May decision.
