By releasing things the way they have they have probably inadvertently presented a half price buying opportunity that you would perhaps not have seen had it been todays release only. Don't forget they have said things are "normalising".

I suspect it will be a case of blaming the Nomad HeresHopin who would probably have dictated the strategy on releases.

Most of any falls here have actually been driven by the market makers taking large percentages off the price and that being rather than any of our Institutional Investors selling.

Decide for yourself if the problems are permanent or temporary in nature and whether they are fixable or can be worked around. I happen to think they got hit with multiple headwinds all at the same time and all of which are fixable or can be worked around, hence why I'm invested. Its good that they have got the results out so quick and given the headwinds flagged: Omicron, DC centre staff problems, HGV drivers shortage etc) they actually don't read too bad imo. Given these would have started to impact Revenue has noticeably increased, Store Revenue well up, even margin is up.

Just reminds us what's there when they deal with the remaining headwinds. Omicron is now over, Self isolation for employees and contacts now out the window. HGV drivers shortage - more recruited, cost cutting measures in place.

Some were thinking replacing the more deadly Delta variant with the milder Omicron variant as the dominant strain would get us there. WHO comments yesterday. It would be nice to think we can get a good sustained run through Spring and Summer and without political scaremongering and interjection.

If you read between the lines on the trading update, Omicron hitting at the time it did no doubt had a very big impact. Staff having to self isolate for 10 days, Contacts having to do likewise. Yes 3rd Vaccine rolled out to mitigate, but regardless it would have impacted on the staffing side; retail employees sick and self isolating, Distribution centre employees the same, probably moreso, suppliers encountering the same re fulfilling orders...

UK wise though it seems that the Omicron wave is on its way out / over as the key indicators have been dropping noticeably, restrictions are all but lifted across the UK, other European countries are easing things, and now we have the WHO only yesterday talking about "Covid ceasefires" and possibly an end to the pandemic.

Happy to buy into the BoD "Normalisation" quote in respect of any Omicron related headwinds.

In agreement bobocaca, hacking, ransomware, cybercrime - it's all economic terrorism in my eyes and is being used to bring companies and indeed countries to their knees. Essential weapon of modern warfare nowadays as well whereby you can take out the operating systems behind key infrastructure and establishments without any blood spilt or lives lost.

Essential to have the right kit to prevent, protect and detect.

I did chuckle last night at the comments on the unfortunate KP ransomware attack for someone had posted that they "had got them by the nuts"

Prevention always better than the cure when you can readily see how these ransomware demands and denial of service attacks can freeze your systems and business and cost you multiple millions in lost revenues and profits, plus the potential for embarrassment and potential data security breach claims.

Some easy business win areas there with several industries ripe for contact by sales and marketing teams, that being if the businesses are not already contacting them first.

It'll be interesting to watch KP further to see if they pay up or do get hit with release of embarrassing sensitive or confidential information.
