Solid state batteries offer real benefits over the normal Lithium Cells. Speed to recharge on an EV is a game changer. Ilika have a technology that's at least begining to get toward production. The first 2 or 3 companies that come on line at scale will create value for sure. The 64000 dollar question is will Ilika be one of them ? Answers on a Postcard please

The Canadian Market lifted throughout the day after London closed . COPL finished at 0.34 Can Dollars inferring 22p Sterling . Not looked at this before. Have I missed something or does that auger well for tommorrow when London opens ?

Really comprehensive update in the RNS today . I am in this for the Lithium play but looks like the Gold may yet offer long term value .

Bernard ae ever playing it cautious but he dies seem commited to bringing us into production. He doesnt seem overly phased by the changes in Chinese Offtake partner ownership and the fact they are listed in China is to my mind a positive . The mine economics should give this a good chance of panning out IMHO

My understanding of what was said pretty clearly in the interview is

- "OVERALL" recovery is 65% ... That's great thats not an average step recovery its the whole process so thats a very high net yield

- The produced concentrate is Oxide not Carbonate which is more valuable .

Happy to be challenged . My view is that RBW are very close to the sucess point. They enter into the pilot plant phase well prepared and sensibly positionedin terms of deployment of proven tech. If the pilot plant stage goes well scale up will be a slam dunk. I am optimistic on prospects over a 2 to 3 year basis and like the management desire to get into production rather than milking Shareholders with placements and can kicking .

Livinhope I would agree with you . It's Eid al Adha holiday out here in the Middle East as of tommorow. That's the second major holiday and banks and government departments are closed. Bank to work on Wednesday next week for most people. Any organisation with any sensitivity just would steer clear of putting out an RNS at this time and getting anything done locally in terms of sign off or stakeholder management just wouldn't happen. I say that as having been a 2 x CEO in the region. i would be very surprised if anything surfaces on the Regulatory news front until mid next week . ATB LTH

I would love to think there was a bounce coming .. more than a bounce that todays late price rise was due to something positive leaking ahead of an RNS tommorrow ... Alas not i suspect ...as the lift seems to be have been caused by a meagre 11 quid buy at the end of the day . GLA

The RNS anouncing the AGM was issued on May 23rd and included the following statement

"Currently, the Company's key actively managed investment is the Mahenge Liandu Graphite Project in Tanzania. At present, the Company is actively marketing the Project to potential industry partners and end users (offtakers) of graphite products. The Company is also pursuing a range of potential options relating to development finance for the project.

Thus we know 4 weeks ago they were actively marketing the project and seeking alternative ways of financing it. 4 weeks isn't long so I could cut them some slack on that and stay patient . The mining licence was issued at the begining of September so that's 9 month plus to have sorted out something. I don't have experiemce of financing mines or lining up off take partners . I guess the question I would ask is are these time frames "normal" or starting to be worrysome?

The current share price itself is a non isssue if the mine goes to production. It's a great entry point for anyone thinking the mine will go into production

The revised metrics issued today in the study look compelling. Payback in under a year!. I can't see the Lithium market disappearing . The scale of resource with an 8 year life of mine looks nicely sized. Potential customers are already onside . Logically to my mind this should progress through to development and production .

Are there any wider aspects that I am missing that would stop that . Eg is there a tranche of other Lithium sites to come on stream? Is the output too low ? Etc

If there are no real impediments surely the share price will kick on significantly?.

Looks to me that the only piece of the jigsaw that is really missing on Armadale is the financing for the mine. Obtain that and the share will rerate and then again on the start of production. I have some financing experience but about as far away from African Graphite mines as you can get. Logically with a 91% IRR from the FEED finance should be obtainable especially as the asset is Graphite and thats a hot commodity. Anyone got experience of financing this tyoe of venture ? Is it realistic to expect it will come and its just a case of being patient . Or is it too big an ask to get 35M for a Tanzanian asset? Thoughts anyone ?

Just landed a confirmation of a confirmation od a sucessful study of scale up woth Comau on Goliath batteries. Its on the Comau feed as well as Ilikas

Comau is an automation company of some size parented by Chrysler Fiat . So that looks like very sensible partner to be developing alongside and helps reduce one of my concerns on how to get a root to market if Goliath Solid state can be massed produce with the claimed high output / short charge time benefit versus normal batteries

Todays RNS was not "The Big One " ... steady as she goes. The company has its' mining licence and ,for me, importantly the management ( Bull) holds a significant ( 9% plus ) position in the company. Thus he is aligned to LTH interests in ultimatley getting into production or deriving significant value from an asset sale. Can't see anything today that says they arenot still headed down that path so will hold patiently knowing newsflow will be sparse

The release today that proposed leaching process acheives a very high level of recovery from the tailing and can be optimised to a 12 hour process is highly significant.
