http://uk.reuters.com/business/quotes/overview?symbol=UBC.L Looks like a very good investment opportunity. Hope to buy in on Monday. Regards
Not invested here, but this is an interesting article. Scroll down slightly .... http://contrarianinvestoruk.blogspot.com/ GLA Regards
Thanks. Agree about the spread. It was ridiculous last week. I'm surprised by so much selling, even if it's profit taking. As I said, I topped up yesterday, but the 'buy' never showed as a trade. Looking at the sp changes, i think quite a few are 'buys'. I'm hoping to hold long term, so I guess it doesn't matter too much. Would love to see it break and hold the 3p level, though. Thanks again for the response. Regards and GLA
Does anyone have any idea why the sp is in the red again today? Have I missed some bad news? Regards
I topped up in here today. My 'buy' isn't showing. I wonder how many more buys are not shown? Strange! Regards
A few more of these and who knows where the sp will be? Don't mind if it flies today, don't mind a retrace, as I'd like to buy more. GLA
I take your point on Greenland. I watched a programme re mineral expiration in the region. It could indeed be a good prospect. I listened to programme on radio 4 this morning. I think the author is called Lester Brown - he's written a book -'On The Edge'. It's all to do with the need to increase food production. What I found interesting was the point that it's not land that's the most significant factor, but water. There is a serious need to conserve it. Was is invested in a technology concerned with preventing water evaporation from reservoirs etc. If this technology proves its worth, could be a lucrative investment for WAS. Let's hope so. TheRobster, we would welcome you on board. Good luck in whatever you decide to do. Regards.
Don't worry. I think this will rebound tomorrow, with or without news. Generally a good day, just the MM's taking the sp down ridiculously low on a late sell. Mind you, I'd like to buy more, so don't mind if sp goes below 2.75 for a short while. I think our biggest problem is the amount of shares in issue. GL & Regards
I bought in for the same reason. Think it could prove a good investment, but time will tell. Hi Blueisthecolour and welcome dealer. I'm quite new myself, and it's nice to see life in this forum. Must say, I find it curious when every day we seem to get a massive sell off - sp drops after an initial rise, but holds it value well and finishes the day up slightly or just under. I suppose we get the opportunity to top up and I hope to do that when funds are available. Regards
Welcome aboard. Rather a lonely BB, so good to have another member. What persuaded you to invest, if that's not an impertinent question? Regards
Recorded interview re Wasabi's acquisition of geothermal power plant http://www.brr.com.au/event/72776 Regards
Worth considering this company given it’s green credentials and recent acquisitions. Read RNS posted below (Kitty2) re purchase of Icelandic power station and Daily Mail article.
