Taken from article re posted Wednesday ... (July 03 2013) 'However it seems to me that the best option for exposure is Alkane Energy (ALKN.L), + which looks good value now, with terrific potential, irrespective of shale interests thrown in for nothing. Alkane has the technology to convert gas into electricity from a unit transportable on a lorry to any location. It is currently producing power from methane in disused coalfields, which they describe as underground gasometers, and at very low cost. This technology is applicable to shale gas, where Alkane can simply act as a contractor, a ‘monetiser’ of the resource, but also with 100% interest in over 800 square kilometers of potential gas areas, it affectively represents a free option on the shale gas boom. The shares are currently priced on a 2014 P/E (price to earnings ratio) of 8.3 and a PEG (price/earnings to growth ratio) of 0.3, with no value attached for any shale potential, either as a ‘monetiser’ or the licensed resource developer.' Don't panic! Many of the 'sells' are buys. Look at the trade price. If all were sells the sp would have dropped significantly. This has happened with GBO in the past. As with GBO, the fundamentals here are good. Kind regards

'However with nuclear slow and very costly, whilst wind and solar need fossil fuel back-up, shale gas will clearly have an important part to play in our future energy supplies. So how to invest? The only company which has actually drilled a hole in the right place is Cuadrilla. The company is not listed on the stock market, but you can buy a 42% equity interest with AJ Lucas in Australia. IGas Energy (IGAS.L) has large shale potential identified, but needs a large farm in partner to exploit it. It looks almost a binary play, either it will double or halve, but brokers Jefferies recently increased their target price from 105p to 190p. Thank you for the research. As Ridingwaves says -' Very good summary! Extremely interesting. I may consider investing here, but not completely sure. Meanwhile, I'll add it to my 'watch ' list. Thanks again. Kind regards, Lacey
Lion Trust Investment Partners LLP increase their stake in IDOX http://www.investegate.co.uk/idox-plc-(idox)/rns/holding(s)-in-company/201301111254363801V/ They must have confidence in the company GLA
From final results: '... Completed and integrated £24m of acquisitions funded by cash flow and a new acquisition debt facility resulting in year-end net debt of £21.5m (2011:£2.4m), maintained within a prudent multiple of EBITDA ...' Debt facility created, which is probably better than issuing more shares. Company has been buying back shares. I don't feel concerned, as the acquisitions bought have yielded good revenue streams. '...· Revenues up 50% to £58m (2011: £39m); a combination of strong organic growth and acquisition performance...' Good to see strong organic growth over the past 12 months. Long may it continue. Happy New Year All and the very best of luck! Regards

Hi, McLaren software seems to have huge potential for this company. IDOX really is broadening its horizons. I think the future here looks very promising indeed. No doubt the euro zone will impact upon the sp, but longterm, I believe this company will prove to be a very good investment. Regards & GL

100% BUY! http://www.barchart.com/opinions/stocks/IDOX.LS Good luck, All. Regards
I've just bought in and hope to be able to contribute to this BB. This share needs more exposure. Lots of potential. An exciting prospect. Mulledwine, long time no see. Are you invested here? Still in SOLG? Walkley, seems you're a lonely voice here. You've been doing a good job, as has mw, posting news. Regards Lacey
Good morning, I just want to wish you luck with this investment. Of the ones on your short list, I think GBG is probably the best value. I like the look of WSG. Went up massively today. Couldn't buy on Lloyds online trading when it was < 12p, but can now it's >20p! Annoying. Anyway, can't buy anything else. Most of my money is tied up in BLNX, a little in GBO, MBO and PFD. Greece has been bailed out. I was convinced it would be, but still believe it will default eventually. Hopefully we'll all have made a little money before then. Just have to hope Italy, Spain and Portugal stay quiet. All the best and kind regards.
http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=201201050700130172V There is significant potential for growth here. However, as looking4gold said, it may take some time. First quarter of 2012 should see significant growth as NHS has to comply with the NICE recommendation. Views on RNS, anyone? Regards & GLA Lacey
I wish all Deltexites, a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year. We've enjoyed a reasonable start to the year, so let's hope we can weather the Euo Zone tempest and advance north! This company has excellent prospects, but needs regular news flow and a set of good results. Looking4gold - thanks for posting the link. Please post any more you find. Good luck, All and kind regards, Lacey
