Well standard government nonsense conflating two separate issues, and creating a complete mess really. These issues being all mining, and Lithium mining. it would have been far more pragmatic to deliver a Lithium policy for all Lithium mining and approve, with a revisit to all other mining laws. As multiple variables for costs impact different types of mining and not just the commodity price.

The delay and time taken is definitely down to bad management by both parties.

Ok, factually the law needs passed for the approval to take place, not the committee. . The rest is your assumption, that one leads to the other.

If asked I doubt the minister will respond as it is factually commercially sensitive information, so will be pleasantly surprised if their is a response.

Factually the Ghanaian government, seem to pass back a lot of questions as nobody seems to attend. So again I doubt it will be responded to. As the minister may not even be present and also any agenda is set by the speaker (from memory) so will just refer back.

Any delay and yip the stock price drops.

Hmm, I if you don’t mind will play a little devils advocate.

Point 1) on the basis that they need the law changed, and not the agreement. Why two weeks to approve? As the majority of the agreement, wording and terminology should already have been reviewed. As per the video, they have read the agreement and need the law changed and the minister to approve /set rate(s), as these rates or ranges within, could be applied to all mining at x point going forward.

2) on the basis that all mining maybe impacted at some point, by these legal changes, do you anticipate or see further delays, I.e. would mps or ministers in say mining regions object, delay or push back. Based upon say the impact of jobs losses, as automation may reduce costs to address the loss of profits.

3) on any delay due to say point 2 do you not see a drop back to the lows at all being feasible?
