Current financial situation for mine: someone correct if I am wrong)
Overall Project Cost (CAPEX): US$185 million. 70% covered by elevra,
Elevra Lithium Contribution: 70% of capex
Initial Sole-Funding: Committed to providing the first US$70 million of development expenditure to earn an additional 27.5% interest in the project.
Ongoing Shared Funding:
After the initial US$70 million, Elevra will fund 50% of all additional capital costs.
Total Estimated Contribution: Approximately US$127.5 million (covering roughly 70% of total CAPEX).
Minerals Income Investment Fund (MIIF) of Ghana Contribution:
Strategic Investment: A total of US$32.9 million.
Stage 1: US$5 million already completed via a subscription for Atlantic Lithium shares.
Stage 2: A further US$27.9 million project-level investment to acquire a 6% contributing interest in the project, which will fund development and exploration.
Atlantic Lithium Remaining Funding Requirement:
Net Funding Gap: Approximately US$38 million (representing Atlantic's share of the remaining CAPEX after Elevra's sole-funding and MIIF's contribution).
Strategies to Cover the Remaining Gap:
Long State Investments: Atlantic has secured a financing agreement for up to £28 million (approx. US$35 million) over 24 months to provide immediate and long-term liquidity.
Offtake Partnering Process: The company is currently engaged in a competitive process for the remaining 50% of unallocated offtake, which could include a pre-payment deal to fully cover its final capital obligations
