JFC, there’s someone I know who gave up trying to communicate with the company back in October. Unfortunately something hasn’t felt right for months here, and this continued lack of news amidst record low sp is a bad sign. The irony is that as tvtgevtime they pedalled the line that they couldn’t and wouldn’t sit on any price sensitive news and that had to be RNS’d to the market, but if you look at the situation the company hasn’t and doesn’t done that. The performance and achievement, or lack there of, by this team is the most price sensitive influence on the sp for two years now. How is it any of the following aren’t price sensitive? Material and still unexplained repeated slippage in Phase 1 timelines, being the only chance of any revenue for the next 3-4yrs, this bloodbath of a project hasn’t been properly updated in an RNS for well over a year, no formal detailed explanation to investors/ the market, instead burying bad news in videos and presentations. Twice missing major critical bank funding deadlines, with no RNS. Twice missing CalVal farm in funding deadlines, no RNS. The g&a funding running out st 2023 year end, no RNS no explanation. And there’s so much more, Sidi, any drill programme etc. This team’s complete lack of achievement on any of these points is the most price sensitive thing, critical for this company, as the sp is telling you. They should be RNS’d. The fact they are unable to deliver is a price sensitive fact investors and the market should know.
On a separate but related point, with the sp now £11m the most telling aspect to me is that despite this sp there’s zero sizeable buying, none. You would see some signs of interest if any good news were on the way. Of course you shouldn’t, but that’s not how the world is in reality, news leaks or is shared as deals get close, but there’s nothing except occasional large 5-10m broker worked selling crossed up on the screen for a seller.
Unfortunately all this points to a very bad outcome here for Sound. I wonder where GL and GD will pop up next? The world keeps on turning, and just as sure as night follows day, the AIM ceos just keep reinventing themselves, and milking investors year after year for performance and delivery that wouldn’t be acceptable by staff in a call centre.
