Crude didn’t like $80 and Casper the same at 4p.

Rig seller ? possibly but I’ve had expected to see much larger chunks when the bid was really strong last week. This is profit taking IMO pre news and nothing wrong with a profit. The same seller is probably hoping that the news could be poor and average down if a holder and buy some more quickly if the 153 news doesn’t spike sp too much. Not a bad strategy if you’re timing is good but not for me when there is too much news in the short term.

A positive 153 and this will test 5p probably but some additional positive snippets on other assets will push it further.

I’m interested to find out if Daehan have upped their holding as I spoke to a pal, who spoke to somebody to state they’ve added 9m since last position at 224m. Anybody got access to a Bloomberg terminal to confirm :-)

KO swapping $6m for equity , that’ll do for me. 154 proving up horizontal strategy, that’ll do, very positive statement on the barge, that’ll do, A8 finding 3 more intervals on the way to the Devonian, that’ll do too BUT let’s not see all the excuses for no commercial flow.

First discovery and all the hullabaloo, yep I agree the sp will spike BUT u fortunately, 7 years on, discovery does not equal revenue growth sadly BUT maybe this one flows, wouldn’t that be nice for a change.

If A8 flowed for 30 days, dependant on the data, your 30p could be a huge under call.

Do you have access to the live share register ? or does Adrianz or anybody you know. I believe that the Koreans may have added more, by that I mean Daehan. I’m looking at their business and it’s bizarre. Current m/cap 160bn KRW or c £95m. A wellness/wellbeing company with 25% of their m/cap in little old Casper ? Their average share price is probably north of 10p and if you look at their share chart, the sp spiked to 40,000 KRW at the time of the A5 discovery. Caspian website showing 224m shares, can anyone see current position ?

I believe that the share percentage held by PIs has declined from c17% and they are the ones that are dictating the price on a daily basis. Stock is tightly held and my point, good news will see this fly.

Maybe the word your missing is ‘COMMERCIAL’ discovery. No good having 5 discoveries delivering the square root of zero ! We don’t know that Airshagyl or Yelemes deep will flow. Yep A5 discovery shot sp to 26p and 6 years on A8 discovery and not a murmur….lol. I want the sp ip but the market is wise to our Caspers discoveries. Let’s hope for all our sakes that Mr Shin adds that all important word :-)

Somm, I disagree. They could find a 1m column of oil butit could be tight or many other reasons for it's inability to flow. That's why the sp went to 1.5p and there's no value in finding it and it not being commercial i'm afraid.

I'd love to join the A8 party Somm but finding oil is not a commercial discovery, you can remove the commercial until they flow it and that's been the problem for 7 years. Not pouring mud on your oil parade but feet firmly on the ground until we have the detail. The opportunity could be humungous but we won't know until Mr Shin solves the conundrum. Maybe you'll be right and the fact that there's oil from 4300m-5300m may be true and that in itself without flow rates will send the sp northwards and grab the attention of the type of player looking to rent the CE.

A8 Devonian drill is exploratory so no surprises if not successful st new depths. Encouraging that there are oil shows between 4500 to 4840m and worst case they get more knowledge on the structure.

Yep lots of news and maybe a barge deal pre year end as any acquirer will need to be ready for Spring when N Caspian is ice free. Throw in the 3AB licence award and spud date but as we know, licensing taking an age.

Yep, tickets bought and are we going to see some dumping or buying as 153 result nears.

Impossible to gauge timings and you can see from last 2 communications as to why. I thought we were stepping out from 154 as per Aug RNS but instead we were drilling 2200m and then the final 200m as per Interims statement. They took over 2 months to drill 154 but that was with financial constraints and i believe that 153 news could be imminent as they are using the RT5 rig and are not on a go slow. News next week for me and should have an update on A8 progress too, The barge ? who knows but a $20m+ charter would be a pleasant development, I also believe that they're negotiating hand has been strengthened with 154 and a couple of aces added if 153 lands.

We are using the same horizontal drilling technique at Well 153 and at the date of this report have re-drilled approximately 2,200 meters of the total planned of 2,400. The final 200 meters will be drilled horizontally into the reservoir unit.

MM's testing the market for appetite. Bid 4.02 to 250k and 3.92 up to 600k. Max buy 4.07, 250k. Tick up coming and a bit like Crude trying to stay above $80, same for us at 4p. I'm chilled with the current price and not fussed if it retraces as it presents another trough moment for some but i've got enough. The news has to do the talking and if it does, it will put strong foundations under the sp and all those who have bought recently or those with lower averages will be laughing all the way to the bank. Hopefully the longer term holders with higher averages will be winners too and there's a chance or should i say chances to make that happen.

I like your numbers but you need to check the formulas as that spreadsheet is dodgy. More cash = more operational activity = more production = more cash = higher sp = more punters and blue sky BS ! Could get silly here but the barge charter/sale would be a huge win and facilitate my dodgy formula above ??

Meanwhile, Crude above $80 and heading to $81, highest levels for over 7 years. $100 oil back on the cards as we head towards Winter ? or a retrace ?

Cmon Casper, time to lift production levels and fill those coffers . Another 600 bopd from 153 and we’re up over 2500bopd with several more wells to be drilled on both shallow prospects. 4p ? market has this wrong .

Oil trading at the highest average levels since 2014 and if it continues above $75 to year end it will be a great year for producers. Just a simple case of maximising production to brighten up your spreadsheet.

CC......lol . I love Geology and the OE industry and hence 14 years trying to make a penny or 2 in this sector. Like any investor, we all do our own research and not to do so means that this is just a shot in the dark. I read as much of the stuff as poss on Kaz geology but the simple fact remains, we don't know what we have and won't know until we flow the first one and do the appraisals. We're here because there is oil at depth, Kaz has 4 of the world's biggest fields and we're down the road from one of them.

Just about to go through 4p as 400k offered . Onwards and upwards.

Sellers evening the game out, some will be trading it to take profit and maybe rebuy and average down but there's plenty more upside before i attempt any top slicing .

Casper finding a Tengiz like find ? i believe that's very unlikely and as you know, the pressure at Tengiz was initially 12-13k psi, lots of gas and sulphur and non of the characteristics of the Caspian targets. Never been to 5300m so it will be interesting to see if the rig is up to the job and what the data will show as they continue to drill. A large find would send the sp into the stratosphere but they have to solve that conundrum with heat and pressure. Who knows where the sp will go but we are invested in a minnow that could deliver huge upside and there aren't many of them.
