Re rig seller, if the recent sell volume was largely him/them, I’d have thought they’d have dumped 1.5m yesterday at 4p. As you say it could’ve been Mr Rig and only 2m or so left and holding on but I still believe it’s OIs buying /selling and trading the ranges.

Not my research, from TimberWolf on ADVFN and hopefully 3AB licence to follow shortly. The above is a production sharing agreement and you can see that the KZakhs want their share, more investment into social infrastructure etc. Itlll be the same with Tengiz on the next round.

Re 153, let's hope that is the case and the result is a positive one and a huge confidence boost and peeps will start believing that MJF could be a 5k+bopd producer.

3AB, won't take long to drill but would be good to see that licence on both SY and 3AB.

A8, i remain pessimistic whilst longing for a positive result ie flowing.

4p and £85m m/cap ? market got it wrong but let's get positive 153 news out and sentiment will build .

I'm not convinced it's rig seller but if it is, good news when/if good news lands.

I hate testing the market with sizeable chunks, just in case i press the 'place order', something i've done before when distracted !

They've had over a week of testing on 153 so they'll know the outcome now. News tomorrow hopefully as any delay could be seen as a negative and waiting for other news to soften the blow maybe.

I was rereading the 3AB fam out deal and i wonder if Casper would have a different perspective now ? Only $2.5m to drill it to 2250m and now they have the cash, would they run with it. The farm out partner is a local partner but no detail given so probably unlikely it's one of the players involved in the Dunga field. I have asked the question who it is but not revealed, something i believe should be in the public domain as deal done. An independent expert will determine the value of the 85% so it will be interesting to see whether a deal is done or not. Similar depth to the MJF structures so hopefully a good chance of success.

Time for Casper to do the talking now.

Thanks for the note IBYB. Not sure if our Grim is FK but not very humorous. I like BB conversation with like minded individuals and good research and debate is hopefully what we can achieve. If CASP does go on a run and appears on the PI radar, you know what's coming and you won't avoid it unfortunately but take advantage of it as anybody who knows the real value will make money by top slicing when it gets overheated and buy back on the dips.

Whether your FK or not, you're entitled to your opinion. If you are then you were part of the Facebook/Twatter community, so you know what that is used for, maybe people working in concert to get an edge, i'm not interested in that. Give my opinions on blogs and enjoy some good debate and hoping to learn a few things from other peoples research. Everybody's entitled to express their viewpoint, and we all have the option to engage or not.

From Wolfi on ADVFN .I still can't believe that DNP have more than 10% invested in Casper ! Their share price is up 13% this month and Caspian news and the oil price, a major item on their BSheet, especially if it goes up or divis are agreed. I believe they have 224m shares, possibly more.

(Seoul = NSP News) Reporter Lee Jun-seok = Daehan New Farm (054670) is laughing out loud as international oil prices soar, British investment companies discover new oil wells, and the possibility of the first dividend payment is raised. As a result, the stock price is also on the rise.

According to the published data, as of the end of June this year, Daehan New Farm holds a 10.8% stake (22483 shares) in Caspian Sunrise Plc, a British oilfield development company. The company is reported to have recently discovered four new wells in Block A8 in Kazakhstan. In addition, drilling has been completed in Block 153, raising expectations for the discovery of additional oil wells.

Gritster, It's automatic and the software will denote anything below the mid price as a sell. The true market price is 4.01-4.13, not the 4-4.4p. Test the market for yourself.

Yep, could get very silly. Will need to make money here to pay for the increased fuel costs on my motors...lol

Every $ = c $760k turnover to Casper, it's significant. I am basing that with SY in the mix and adding the $1 to export and domestic on a 70:30 split. Big bucks for Caspian and that's why they need to get those drills working faster than ever. Worth investing in more kit as the ROI looks very attractive on each horizontal well.

Still got to do it but if they can drill 2 more horizontals on 144/146 this qtr and 153 is a success, they could be knocking on 4k bopd if each well was 600 bopd. That is significant revenue and if you extrapolated that monthly number and turnover would be over $100m pa plus barge rental and we're at 4p. Not done yet but let's hope our 153 doesn't dampen spirits but instead, light that touch paper for rockets and blue sky.

It is crazy when you think that Covid could've taken them down but i suspect they'd have survived as they would've funded it from KO/debt, equity. The biggest burden would be the BNG charge and boat but hey, that's history now.

Many on the boards have been in it for a long time and i can't recall a time where there have been so many operational activities on the go that can impact the sp positively. Pre the deep program in 2013, the expectation was high as no history of failure or drilling problems and you could see what the A5 initial discovery did to the sp. Unfortunately 7 years on, those issues have continued on 4 deeps and any blue sky value has evaporated. Market doesn't believe a deep will flow and if A8 was the first well drilled in 2021, the 4 oil bearing interval news would've sent the sp northwards at pace, unfortunately the market doesn't believe that it will flow.

I took the decision to average down by taking more stock at the recent lows as it was undervalued but still huge risk because of Covid and maybe MJF depletion. That is now history hopefully and the shallow production alone gives investors upside from here and the additional cash means that can build revenues and work the other assets in the portfolio.

I won't be cashing up anytime soon as the deeps, 3AB are a free punt and they are multi-bagging opportunities, even the barge is from this level and if they generate more cash then they'll have oportunities to buy more acreage, take part in an offshore project with CE ? who knows.

The immediate downside isn't from A8 failure, there's no value in sp for it, the only downside is from the shallows not delivering and generating the cash. That's not the case now and even if 153 is a flop, the sp demise will be minimal as there's too much material activity on the go so as i said, a buy opp on poor or good news, hopefully the latter.

Reall money to be made but this is a Kazakh controlled company in a corrupt part of the world so always risk involved.

Let's see what we get this week as 153 should've been perforated and tested.

Crazy investment really and plenty of risks from geopolitical,regulatory etc but I figure that KO and co have laid their chips and it’s about to deliver returns .
