Market volatile, good to see Crude holding up but we're in the hands of Omicron re next move, hopefully it's as early data is revealing , more infectious but less harmful.

I know what we I don't want to see in next update and i certainly don't want to see excuses or to have to decipher misleading RNSs. News is overdue on many fronts but maybe they've had nothing material to release ?? As i said, next news to be mixed but still expecting a move above 6p but hoping for more, anything else would be disappointing.

It's a simple one, they increase the cash flow by renting/selling barge, building shallow production and who knows, even get a deep to flow. Crude at sub $50 doesn't send them under but it makes it hard and the $1m placing said a lot, KO was either lacking in a few bob to continue backing it or didn't want to risk any more of his personal dough. Good news, POO recovered and cost of admin, general and operations reduced as a result of Covid. Looking forward to seeing how they fared financially in H2 but it will be the best set of results since incorporation.

Clive, you've bought eight weeks thus far to issue news, that's not a monthly update so enough time to issue that comprehensive update with a very positive slant.

I meant finals. $54 break even but that’ll be incorrect as oil has averaged c high $60s 2021 to date and they’ll be building cash reserves since release. Also, if 153 is commercial and SY awarded then that number obviously drops but it ain’t $30.

10% bounce from the $66 is good to see but still in the dark re new variant and it's likely affect on demand.

I am hoping to see a positive conclusion on the barge before year end. As per link below, N Caspian Sea (lake) was ice bound for 4.5 months, the longest for 10 years but ice free come early April. Looking at weather forecast in Atyrau i don't believe the freeze starts to mid December and who knows, could be ice free by end March which is the norm, maybe global warming reduces the season further.

I'm expecting SY award and an average result at 153 , 802 spud,144 spud and problems at A8, everything else WIP.

Casp and crude price effect. I agree that it may not respond like a large oil producer but it is a key factor. If Crude bounced back to $85 now, i'd be buying more as would many others and hey presto sp increases.

Was looking at the Daehan NP share price and down 15% from the last Casper RNS, crazy that a company has 10% of it's value invested in a Kazakh OE minnow ! Their sp didn't spike to mirror Casper's rise to 5p but i'm sure it'll have a massive effect if A8 flows commercially.

Sp had risen to 4.9p before retracing and maybe a little handle to grab onto for the next move up ? Chart poised and through 6p for me.

Omicron not all bad for markets as it’s crating the volatility for some to make a few pennies. I added a few more RDSB for a bit trading gun and made a few quid. Crazy going back 7% as market panicked but it’s one of my boring divi payers although capital appreciation has been nice over last year.

Now for Casper’turn and I don’t want to have that sinking feeling on opening an RNS or to read negative comments from an early riser on boards before I’ve read it and digested info.

Time for a change. a real positive change, the rerate that all Caspers have been waiting for. Positive developments and positive plans for the future, now wouldn’t that make a nice change :)

Much that the sp is on its arze, the catalyst to the 167% current increase was down to 4 factors IMO and crude/production increase were in that list.

- 3AB farm out
- 154 result
- crude price

Much that we get Rich from the deeps, boring shallows together with a high crude price will could see us above 10p, 6 bags from the low :)

Chance of A8 success ? I’m not holding my breath and will remain cynical until they get that monkey off their back after 7 years of disappointment. Is A8 going to flow ? Shin has to do something different and o don’t want to see the same excuses ie pressure and mud blockages as they’re not learning after 7 years of failure and $70m down the money pit.

If and it’s a big if, we get lucky, this gets silly.If A8 flows commercial oil, the sp appreciation will be stunted by the current market headwinds and the fact that we need to see 30 day flow test. That gives a huge opportunity to add as the real appreciation comes after proving its a commercial find.

They've had time to re-drill 153 and make amends if initial attempt was a failure OR could've been a success and already drilled 144 ?

I'm expecting conclusive results on 153/SY and the confirmation that 802 spudded and drilled to x metres. Barge negotiations ongoing, WIP on A8 and 3AB still waiting. Maybe spudded 144 too and drilled x metres.

There, that took 1 minute to write so maybe Clive's got loads of great news and the biggest part, A8 is flowing @ 3kbopd+ currently 7 days through a 90 day flow test. Only issue there, seen know applications for Flaring licences and no clouds of smoke over Airshagyl.

Only reason for delay is if he's waiting for more info so that he can right this comprehensive, informative RNS OR he's having to get his creative juices flowing for another episode of Carvespeak. It does make me laugh, working on his RNS, he's not writing his dissertation. Let's hope it's the former :)

9p, that would be nice but that would take a positive result on 153 , SY and the barge or very positive initial results from A8. As we know, a 90 day flow test to realise the real sp value but if it’s flowing now, it will break through 10p regardless of other news, if it doesn’t, but more !!

They have material news to release, they’re chiding not too and the big question as always, why ? I don’t mind waiting for the Blockbuster but I certainly do if it’s more excuses . Can’t use the weather excuse or that Russia has crossed the border and confiscated the acreage ! Good news only so let’s be avin it :)

Much that i believe we get a mixed bag, i've got the rose tinted specs out and am going for a breakout as the CE deal done and SY licence agreed - 6.25p .

Market was 50k max buy and 450k sell at the close so definite appetite for stock but the spread was a joke. Don't know how somebody got 4.05p for 120k as the spread was 3.875-4.17p ish, a 7.5% spread and MM's making money in a thin market, nothing new there.

The 260k was a sell but the 519k trades aren't sells as the sp would've responded. 3.85p ? if the news is poor, it'll be cheaper than that BUT i don't believe you'll be seeing these bargain prices for much longer,
