Transparent. They can only get away with it if people help them out, thinking they're helping themselves until the dump comes along. Can only try to highlight it & hope to prevent decent people losing out.

FYI, he's also ramping on GROC telling them that Elon Musk should be interested. Again, no evidence, just a plain old ramp to support a quick pump & dump. Outrageous, should be banned!

"Sometimes rumours does come true". True (if you ignore the grammar). 99% of the time though it's just a plain old pump & dump with no thought for other investors who get their fingers burned along the way. Despicable.

I thought the increased divi would be worth a bit more than £22 p.a. per 10,000 shares Trek
10,000 shares @ c. 131.7 = £13,170
10% dividend net of WHT (per Bananaman2) = £1,317
Therefore an additional 3% would give c. £39.50

I can't see it upomega. Ciggies are already taxed to the b*ll*cks and Jeremy C Hunt won't want to kill the golden goose. Even if they were hit with a windfall tax, they'd do the same as they do when duty changes and bang another 10/20p on a packet of 20.

Excellent f.y. update ahead of final results towards the end of February. "Adjusted profit before tax (before exceptional items) is expected to be in the range of £52 million to £54 million (previously £47 million and £50 million)". Roll on the next dividend announcement.

If you believe, as I do, that this move away from defensives is all too much, too soon, then buy the dip & take advantage of the improved yield. IMB is the same business this week as it was last week. K

Yep, XD 24/11. 4.25 US cents divi announced 8/8. Look forward to 3rd qtr trading statement on Monday with hopefully more good news to come.

"Share consolidations very rarely work out for the benefit of shareholders and this appears to be the same." They certainly don't work if you sell 75% of your holding whilst the sp is low. If you can't afford to wait, don't buy shares in junior biotech's.
