BagIT, I also hold both and would prefer that they remain separate because they've both been reliable dividend payers. However, there is pressure in this sector to close the NAV gap and I would much prefer a merger to a managed wind-down here. I'm very happy with AEW as the manager, they've won multiple awards for their work (including the Citywire Investment Trust Award in the 'UK Property' category for the fifth successive year, the 'Property' category at the Investment Week Investment Company of the Year awards, and the Listed Fund award at the MSCI UK Property Investment Awards) so must be doing something right, and have paid a consistent dividend over 10 years now. If the takeover happens I'll look to increase my holding in AEWU by 50% and invest the remainder elsewhere. K
