Presumably the NESF move means the dividend is more likely to be cut here too?

Sorry, if the dividend was unsustainable, why was the company telling us they were covered 1.1 - 1.3x as recently as 18th February?

Presumably they held discussions with their major shareholders as part of the strategic review process? Not sure this is the outcome they were looking for just before year-end...

This will continue to be volatile, expect daily rise & fall in the SP. Wars don't end because one side says they're over, this will run & run I suspect.

One benefit of holding cash rather than vessels at this stage, the sp has ridden out the Middle East war for the time being at least. Far less volatility than if we'd had a fleet on the high seas, or trapped near the Strait of Hormuz.

They've underwritten the sale to make sure it got away. Failure to make a sale wouldn't have helped anyone, least of all PI's.

Well he would be, most of his buying was done when the SP was x 10+ where it is now so he'll be trapped here like many others. I think he was the one that said we'd get our money back from VOG lol. Still waiting, surprisingly...

Important week this week, be good to see accounts signed off by the auditor and trading restored by Friday. Have a feeling it might drag on to next week but let's see. Nothing we can do about it anyway...

OK so Jefferies are still adding, but what do these FI's mean? Loan / swap for cash deals? Sounds very much like shorting territory to me. Or has it got something to do with SABA? Would they have to declare it if they had a loan / swap for cash agreement with Jefferies? All beginning to sound a bit shady.

It's not yielding 7.5%! This is a permanent change to the distribution policy. So for the coming year, c. 2.95p + 2.95p = 5.9p, so that's c. 5.5%.

Interims not great but not disastrous by any means. Trouble is, bad news x bad day = terrible outcome, & that's what we've seen today. Hopefully get a bit of a recovery from here when the market works out that this is overdone.

So the interims are not great, I could see why there'd be a small drop. But surely future earnings are tied to the price of gas, which is through the roof. That doesn't seem to be reflected in any of the green sector shares, and particularly here? I know we're up for sale, winding down etc. but earnings are still important in the interim (you could argue, even more important during the sale process?).
