When a company has nothing to say about future plans, it starts talking about acquisition opportunities The fact is there is nothing for Regal to acquire in Ukraine Apart from Smart Energy’s assets, obviously, that may be a good deal. And a good opportunity for Smart to cash out. If happens, hopefully the price will be fair The worst thing is Regal spends all its cash, gets debt just to acquire the asset from the majority shareholder which will prove to be a failure

Unless Novinskiy wants to exit or his stake is used as a collateral (both highly unlikely), he should not care much about the current share price. 35p or 65p makes mo difference to him personally. Unlike us Low price is actually better for him if he considers taking the company private Given the currebt liquidity and freefloat, even $2-3mn would make an impact on future liquidity

Move up on which news exactly? Need a positive update re VAS - both license and reserves, then maybe Cash balance will not surprise. Drilling results are in a few months time

This is my largest single investment among individual stocks 2) My stocks portfolio is heavily skewed towards junior E&P stocks, that’s where my expertise comes from 3) Apart from RPT, I currently own CAD, JKX, VGAS, GKP, GENL, SEPL. A few offshore drillers, small positions, though. In and out, as the situation changes Will be happy with 50-60% gain on Regal in the next 6-9 months. Do not expect it to double, but 50% is pretty much a done deal for me

Because London listing is sort of an insurance in the turbulent Ukrainian environment. It is more difficult to do something aggressive to a company, which has UK shareholders than to a private Ukrainian company Ukraine is very much oriented towards the West these days, so authorities or other oligarkhs will think twice before doing something unfriendly That said, it didn’t help RPT with the VAS license

Suffering a loss is never easy, but I understand it is a temporary one My exposure to RPT is way larger than what it should be, from diversification point of view There is just a limited downside from current level, so it is fine Unlike JKX, Regal has very little chances to double in next 12 months, but I can’t see what can half it either. JKX has a larger short term upside but much larger risks as well
