kolomoiskiy, another oligarch, who basically brought zelensky to power, seems to have suffered most eventually. he has lost most of his assets in ukraine

zhevago is not even close in terms of political power in ukraine these days

That said, the London listing did not help Novinskiy’s controlled Enwell Energy, they have lost two gas upstream licenses and had to put on halt all operations on the respective gas fields

Ukraine has lost so precious gas production and plenty of taxes. But who really cares about these minor nuisances

Those who doubt a seizure of FXPO’s assets by Ukraibe, should google what has happened to:

- Kolomoiskiy’s stakes in Ukrnafta, the largest oil producer in Ukraine

- Kolomoiskiy’s stake in Ukrtatnafta, which was previously stolen from Russian Tatneft

- Zhivago’s interest in MotorKraz, a vehicles producer

- Grigorishin’s stake in Zaporozhtransformator

- Boguslaev’s stake in Motor Sych

- Kolomoiskiy’s controlling stake in UNB, the largest independent oil producer in Ukraine (this us the most recent one but equally embarrassing)

They were all seized by Ukraine and transferred to new owners, mostly state-owned companies

I think the LSE listing is the only thing that prevents this from happening to FXPO

It would be nice to have anything below 80p next week to start accumulating a position

Extremely risky of course but I personally do not believe in a complete crash unless the assets are seized by Ukraine

Note 19 of the FS is scary, to say the least

I am looking to re-enter at a right price. Definitely below 90

Thinking about what can move the stock further

The results are reasonably good under the circumstances but nothing spectacular

So I am wondering what’s next for FXPO?

What can help the share price get out of the current 85-95p range?

Out of curiosity, what interest may a “Russian bot” have by posting on a website of the London Stock Exchange in a thread dedicated to a London-listed Ukrainian company? What could be the purpose, at least in theory?

The best thing which can happen to FXPO is Ukraine giving in the territories under Russian control , while getting sufficient guarantees that its remaining territories will be free from any future assault

You should pray for a negotiated settlement to make a gain on your FXPO investment

The Crimean bridge hasn’t been used in military logistics for months. There is now an inland route throughout the so called “new Russian regions”

The bridge is primarily used by tourists, particularly during the summer period

Unbelievable that anyone invested into a Ukrainian stock could welcome an event potentially leading to further escalation

Last time half of Ukrainian power generation was destroyed. Now the grain deal is off the table. What’s next?

So Schroders have decreased their holding below a 5% threshold having sold ca. 3.0 mln shares

Is this the major reason the FXPO stock price has been under quite a pressure?

1-3 year horizon is like eternity in the current circumstances

Risks are obvious and they can materialize any time

There should be some meaningful short-term upside to counter-balance the risks

If the 1H report does not move the share price, I will probably close my position. Flat so far

There may be then a better entry point in the future

If FXPO were a private company, its assets would likely have been seized by now (Apeirogon, please check my grammar))

The premium listing in the UK and the board full of European citizens are some kind of protection. But not a guarantee

Regarding FCPO’s major shareholder, do you think diluting him to below 50% was a hostile act of the board against him? Or were they acting in concert in this regard trying to minimize risks for the company?

From corporate governance point of view that was outrageous. Selling treasury stock to a third party and providing that party with an interest free loan so that he could finance the share purchase

The question is whether Zhivago had any role in this?

If not and that was the hostile move against him, can we expect to have a conflict between Zhivago and the board?

There was a similar situation at JKX a few years ago where the board tried to downplay the role of Kolomoiskiy, another Ukrainian oligarkh. The conflict lasted for several years but eventually the board was dismissed and replaced with Kolomoiskiy’s people
