Anybody have any idea what is happening with this share, dipping then coming back strongly?

I spent last weekend researching shares and this was my number one pick, which I invested in on Monday. It rapidly rose on Monday morning - which appeared to be due to my investment. I couldn't believe that my buys (total £10k) had such an effect on a relatively large company, but I was watching it on L2 and I could see the effect. There must be a very small free float of shares.
Then it all went pear-shaped for no apparent reason. Then today it went back into profit. Crazy.

The spread is now 63 - 68. I don't understand why we should suddenly go to such a large spread.

I have been very pleasantly surprised at the goodness of people on this chat board (compared to some boards I could mention). Let's just ignore thanglan as the exception.

A very worthwhile cause.

I am surprised that there hasn't been more reaction to the culmination of this great charitable idea. I hope Jurado soon comes back with his/her charity. Can I suggest that he opens a JustGiving account so that we can contribute, specifying TRX/LSE (donor can be anonymous or not).
I pledged a grand originally, though looking back I can't see what exactly I promised to do and what the conditions were (I predicted a price of 2p!), so I will make a new one.
Firstly I will of course give the £25 to Jurado's nomination. Then, once the EUA sale goes through, I will donate all my TRX profit to charity (currently £15k) and that will include £1k to Jurado's charity (unless I dislike it!).

To be more specific, from the RNS of Sept 1st:
"The Monchetundra Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS), contracted to CKE and EMR (both defined below), is in the final stages of its development further to the successful completion of geotechnical and other studies performed by Gipronickel (an engineering arm of Norilsk Nickel) as well as an audit by Wardell Armstrong International."

I agree that this has not been stated explicitly but it has been very close to it. See the RNS where they say that a subsiduary of NN has been assessing the holding in MT.

I don't think is true at all. The FSP ended when they were down to one bidder (NN) who have spent the time since verifying what it is they are buying.

Risk and deciding whether to invest is a funny thing. I have well over a million quid on paper in EUA, which cost me £30k.
If I had a million in the bank would I invest it all in EUA? Of course not.
But now I have it I am not selling!

My last badly worded. I meant annual earnings of 4.2p per share - so justifies the share price on its own. Rowka may have been right!

See my thread 'Calculations'. I reckon this alone is worth 4.2p per share.

Production of 126Koz per year at $2000 per oz and a cost of $400 per oz to mine is a profit of $202M. EUA owns 80%, and converting to £ gives an annual revenue of £117M, minus taxes.

With 2.8 billion shares in issue that equates to 4.2p per share.

So this alone justifies an increase in price – without flanks etc etc. Please check my arithmetic!
