RE: Volume25 Nov 2022 06:16
its been a very long journey and it was always about Moditope and what it could do and how it could change lives. I always talk about my dad on here. He lost his mum at 72 and his wife at 69 who both had very painful deaths. His sister at 80 who went very quickly at 80 when she refused to be treated. He had melanoma, was resected and recovered. his new partner now of 15 years had breast cancer, breast removed and recovered. I know I am not alone with these personal stories. So for those long-term holders who understood the enormity of what Lindy was trying to achieve and our faith in her genius and literally willing for it to work, the incredible financial gains will simply be a deserved consequence of that faith to beat the biggest cruelest killer of them all. Like many here I bought originally in the 30's though through accumulating annually in my ISAs my average is about 18. So its been scary at times with so much in. But those chats with Lindy a few years ago at Oxford VCT AGMs gave me complete faith in her so stuck it out. Having listened to the AGM, I might just have been right. It was always obvious that if Moditope did what it said on the tin (and in the mice!), incredible things would happen here. I think it is worth now saying thank you to Redmile, Dingle and Vulpes for their vision and support in the darker days.
