I wrote a long piece yesterday about how my family have lost so many through cancer, with my dad losing 3 next of kin (his mum, wife and sister so my Nan, mum and Aunt) The more we raise the further down the line we get and the closer we will get to to contributing to beating this terrible disease. Yes I know emotion should not get in the way and i know there is cynicism in the ,market on why should our trial work out when so many have failed but if you have been following this for a while this new money will pay for the opportunity and possibility of something quite amazing and may be our last opportunity to financially contribute to this very long amazing journey. The rest is up to you of course,

Just been to see my dad's sister who is about to pass away with cancer. Yes she is 83 but it is debilitating to see the effect of this terrible disease on her, Also very tough on my father who will have now lost his mum (my gran), wife (my mum) and his sister to cancer, Saying the potential cure is potentially 4/5 years away is no compensation despite all the wonderful work Cancer Research UK does but makes me even more determined for Scancell to see their work through and get our products in to the hospitals. I know I am not the only one here whose life has been adversely affected multiple times. For that reason alone we should support the OO if you do have the spare cash and get these trials over the line.

if the the Combo results come in with a major PD1 manufacturer, one of the top melanoma experts (Flaherty) all the top doctors like Fago plus the top US hospitals, what would we then we be worth, For sure what SP is today has no bearing.It was always about the Combo results at this stage. lets make this a positive discussion. i was just suggesting that if the 4m sale was calculus it was just a warning shot on who is boss and they need to be listened to, I see them as an ally for us vulnerable PIs.

Wild..i agree with the keeping of the IP. My wobble was Glencross's tweets last night. We would be nowhere without Calculus, If they did not partake something will come out.

trouble is you never know what people's personal agenda are, Everyone needs to be aligned. I would not be surprised if the 4m share sale was calculus just to put a shot across the BOD and show who is boss.

It seems Glencross is a bit ****ed off, so i agree with you about the watershed point.Calculus have had the rollercoaster with us, including buying in the 30s whilst Chiplin has picked up shares at 10p and 12p and has not driven up the SP. Calculus could end up being a very good ally for the PIs.

So lets put it to a vote, Whats more important. Keeping 100% of the IP OR getting a quick win and giving away the long term value. The SP was around 14p six days ago which gives context to the 12p.

Hotwings. what do you think of Scancell keeping the ownership of the IP and not giving it away and not bottling it.

3 trials and their results to look forward to. In my head its now game on. If you don't believe the trial results will be good, you should not be in this anyway. Really exciting! LONG-TERM value is all that matters and that is by developing products meeting people's needs.

So when the results come out we will still own everything, IMO this is a really brave play and shows total self-belief and in the long-term will produce much better value for shareholders, Of course there are some on here who will want a quick win but surely that is not how a groundbreaking life changing company should be built. So as long as the results are what we expect them to be, we will then be able to name our price,You can argue to the cows come home what it could have been raised at but remember it was 13/14p a few days ago and with IMM yesterday we need to learn to live in the real world.
