is it saying that it might prevent one giving the infection to others as well as protecting oneself. If that is what they are saying as well as the longevity which means may be a top up every 5 years which means easier to distribute to the whole world, being multi strain so in effect future proof, and potentially elimination transmission almost too good to be true.

Could this expanded to the flu vaccine as a separate jab so we do not have it every year.

We have been told our COVID solution is broader and from my understanding it lasts longer. Which is why it is labelled as a 2nd generation vaccine. Just seen Moderna has increased 692% this year. So as news comes through for Covidty plus early moditope news plus’that’ commercial deal I think the potential is pretty obvious. With Trials now able to start again next year due to vaccine roll out and with the money in the bank I don’t think things are looking too shabby

i have for a while now said one of the risks is selling out below what we would wish for. with so many options at 5p, £1 per share would be eye watering for much of management so quite a bit less than that is really possible . whether I think it could to £2/£3/£4 , in time which i do unfortunately is irrelevant.

today's news on vaccines is fantastic news. Once this is being rolled out from next month, focus will go on 2nd generation vaccines. Those that last longer and cover a broader spectrum of coronavirus strains will then become hot property. Today's challenge was always a search for a short-term solution to stop the virus in its tracks which hopefully they will. Based on the publicity being generated today on today's successes make this an amazing entry price especially as today's news gives a high probability on the roll out of our cancer trials as laid out last week which is still the core of the company.

most people i speak to are climbing walls at the moment and feeling pretty low. Added to lockdown fatigue, not even allowed to go out and eat, play golf, or go to football, everyone is pretty exhausted. So doesn't take much for sentiment to drag things down here. Of course we have never had so much potential but because of external factors it doesn't quite feel like that. So roll on to next spring, as the clocks go back, our trials are underway with hopefully a good pr job to back it up and the first generation vaccines have done their job at least in the short term. Come April, I genuinely don't think we will recognise ourselves with even the Olympics and Euros to look forward to and we can enjoy our past times again. So time to put our shares in the bottom draw and let everything in Scancell and the wider world play out.life is pretty boring at the moment for everyone and of course that will destroy sentiment I have been guilty as anyone at looking at this on a daily basis but nothing is in my control.

Biontech went down 13% on Moderna announcement yesterday because it was sold as easier to store. So market is a fickle place for sure. Agreed for long term investors the future is bright and expecting a very nice if not life changing return For short term investors will move on to other things.

The potential here is limitless and any share that could potentially increase by 300% to in excess of 1000% of course carry high risk or the potential upside would not be so high. That is basic economics. We are lucky that from originally Oxford VCT, then Calculus, and to Vulpes and Redmile kept it all alive to be where we are today. The risk has been reduced by Redmile's investment because at last we now have a chance to get the data needed to drive everything forward and if all goes well eventually out to market. Of course the trails might not work. Of course we may have to sell at a lower price than some here would like. On the other hand we could have the capitalisation of Juno. Thats the bet one way or the other.. And you are right if you are saying how many 50/1 or 100/ bets comes in.

Being a know all you must be very rich. Whether Scancell is doing things right all the time is irrelevant. This pandemic has proved something very clearly to me. There are 2 types of people. Those who get up every day and do their best trying to make things better overcoming whatever hurdles they need to deal with and those who do nothing but criticise whilst making no positive contribution themselves. Those posts you write make me so angry but I actually feel sorry for you. Yes lots don’t pull it off but it is no reason to gloat. Most of us on here are just willing Scancell to succeed and a lot due to personal grief. Covidity has changed things a bit but it is still driven by the desire of backing a small UK bio to come up with the right solutions which of course is against the odds.

With the whole of Europe, even Germany, going in to panic mode over the second wave, riots in Italy and Spain, earlier and earlier curfews and the resulting economic consequences, the limitations of existing first generation vaccines, positive news from our second generation vaccine will take us in to a whole new world. Patience, patience and our day will come and it could be quite amazing. We have the money to prove what we need to now and it doesn't look like anything out there comes anywhere close to the potential of Covidity. As I said patience, patience.

Lots of negative news stories on vaccines this morning. 50% success rates, and halted trials due to potential side effects to name two. My take is Redmile are throwing their chips in to get Covidity moving quickly. The rewards would be beyond most of our comprehension. As I said to a friend the other day it would be quite cool if I have invested in the company that prevented Covid-19 and cured cancer. Lindy always had something about her when I met her personally at Oxford VCT meetings . I just hope my instincts are right

That will help deepen your mood. My only issue i how many more I will go for at 13p on top of my allocation. I assume you are going to take your allocation or can i have them please.
