Ditto with AFC Energy, they still haven't sold anything after 15 years, despite his incessant ramping. No wonder he keeps changing his moniker so often, it must be the embarrassment and the utter shame. Two decades of ramping, it's his only hobby in life.

Down more than 20% seems a bit much for simple profit taking, this has placing written all over it. They've probably not had much choice, all the delays in Utah mean there's sod all chance of the licence fee arriving before the end of Feb. It was about 6 or 7 months ago they started drilling, and I don't think they've even managed to get 200 barrels from the two wells yet. Lots of water though, what a shambles. They must have got the down-hole heaters from a right bunch of cowboys.

I just hope they don't go overboard, 40 or 50 million shares at 5-ish p, plus the Utah money in Mar/Apr, should see them through the first half of the year, then they could raise some more in Q3 or Q4 at a much higher price if needed. I will be disappointed if they go for any more than that.

there must have been around 773 million shares at that time. and i think the sp might have touched 50p intraday, but 49p seems to have been the highest close, on 16th dec 2013.

so the highest the market cap reached must have been about £386m, 3 times our current valuation.

I think that there are roughly twice as many shares issued today compared to when we hit 50p. So a similar market cap today would be about 25p. But the company is a completely different beast now. Back then we only had MSAR, now we've got 3 or 4 different versions of bioMSAR being developed, a lower carbon and ultra low sulphur MSAR in Utah, and the ultimate goal of bioMSAR Zero only a few years away. And the shipping companies are being nicely pushed in our direction thanks to all the new EU/IMO regulations on decarbonisation.

Much more importantly, in the Maersk/Saudi days it was generally accepted that the revenue to QED would be around $10 a ton, their cut of the residue/distillate spread. With our new biofuels, they're looking at $50 a ton revenue, that's FIVE TIMES MORE.

So even with twice as many shares in circulation, the factors above more than make up for it.

Sweet Lord, Mines is on over £240k a year, so he must have taken about £4.2 million out of the company since he started. £4,200,000 of shareholder's money, what a bunch of mugs. And to think that this used to be at 28p a share, BEFORE the share consolidation, so equivalent to £280 a share in today's money!! From 280 quid a share to 3p, wow, that's some drop. No wonder old Musty keeps changing his user ID every 3 months, it must be the utter shame.

ColdFishPie, listen to the last question Jason answered at the AGM, in case you missed it, the bio-ethanol testing they did in the lab was for the Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping. So Maersk are definitely still around. With the Auramarine RNS yesterday, I think when the POC is successful for MSAR, it will be rolled out commercially starting with Cepsa, which will presumably be the supplier for OCP. Why would they sign up with Auramarine now for ship refits, if commercial rollout was going to start when the bioMSAR LONO was in the bag? That's 12 months away. It was mentioned in the AGM that the interim LONO was enough to go commercial with, and it was hinted that it would be MSC plus other shipping companies. I will be astonished if the Danes aren't one of them, they do own 12% of Vertoro after all, so they will benefit from the success of bioMSAR.

Why has this dropped 11% in the first 20 minutes this morning, on no news? Well no news that I can see. Is this being shorted, or have people just given up on O'Hara's hot air and bluster?

And who are Utah going to be selling their product to? That's a bit of a strange comment, AKHM.

I don't think the problem is that we're dealing with MSC's partners, who are big players, the delay is probably because we are not dealing with one shipping company, we are dealing with TWO shipping companies. This was reconfirmed on the recent update to Lafayette Energy's website which someone kindly posted here, it's there in black and white.

Who do you think the yet-to-be-named second shipping company is? The very well known and easily recognisable one, according to Jason at the QRF tour. There's only one shipping company it can be IMO, it's an odds-on certainty in my book, I wouldn't even offer you odds on them. I'll give you a clue, they own 12% of Vertoro.

If I'm correct, then something much bigger is being worked on, and when the news drops it will absolutely blow the bloody doors of the share price.

It was just after they signed up with Sonder that the weekly LinkedIn posts started appearing. A bit of a coincidence, and who else could this guy be writing biofuels articles for?

20 grand a month to be a CEO, and he has to pay someone to write articles for him. I presume that it's shareholder's money that's paying for Anders Eklund to be Jason's coach/mentor too, it's highly unlikely that Jason will be paying for it out of his own pocket. I wonder who else is paid for out of QED expenses, a bloke who walks around opening doors for Jason? Maybe someone to wipe his rear if he needs a number 2?
