Whatever the deal (or no deal) will turn out to be, it is important to remember that vast majority here carries heavy paper losses and the new deal should be judged not by the potential it presents from the current levels but from the levels the SP was at before the disastrous ST2 developments. Just to remind us all - investment loss recovery table:

I have to agree - it's not a realistic option. And it is not reasonable to expect any rosy scenario after The Company clear announcement on 11-Nov:

"The Company is seeking to have the Initial Scope funded from the proceeds of either the strategic investor process or through a structured debt financing package, either of which may incorporate the issue of new equity or an equity-like component to the financing package"

The risk of dilution is very high (in one form or another), we just don't know the scale of it yet.

Don't worry, the majority of us suffered vastly in the current circumstances. I'm heavily invested / overexposed (of my own accord) too to the point that even if I really wanted to average down at the current levels the amount of money required to make tangible difference to my holding grossly exceeds my current budget lol. I'm sure many here are in the similar position and simply have no other choice but to sit it through. I wrote it off (in my mind) some time ago just to retain sanity, anything from there is an upside. Personally learnt a lot about the art of investing while invested in Sirius too, there is no better teacher than gambling with your hard earned even if you don't always get it right :)

It's only money (f**k it), can be made back.

It's perfectly fine as long as capital appreciation measured from your average buying level is preserved and we don't get diluted to death in the next round. One day in the distant future you will simply take your multiplied investment and use the capital somewhere else. At that point you will have made your money already and you can use it however you like to generate even more. You don't have to stick with Sirius if you don't like the dividend yield, there are thousands of stocks out there. On the other hand if the proposed additional equity introduction is significant, to put it simply we are all (and especially those with higher averages) fu***ckd and the potential for growing your investment will always be limited from that point no matter how you look at it.

But keepin' it positive, let's be happy to be alive for now. It feels good.
