Reading many posts published here over the last couple of days feels as if they were written with conviction that “securing a deal” is almost equivalent to the “good news”. It’s not. The deal could be satisfactory to all involved but also could be damaging by placing current LTHs in either “break even region” or even leaving “in red” (those with higher averages) while those who purchased recently or bought on announcement will enjoy the majority of the growth. We just won’t know until we know and until we do there is nothing to celebrate.

Ruling out the darkest scenario for now it is worth to remember that it is not the deal itself, it is the nature of the deal that really matters.

Suddenly the post received almost 40 likes, received plenty of support and was branded "believable" and from "reliable source". Not because it was verified, simply because it was POSITIVE and painted the rosy scenario you are all desperate for. F**k objectivity. F***k sober judgement.

If the very same user posted yesterday something like "I have heard from reliable source that the recruitment is slowing down / further job losses" you would have automatically branded him a "bashers", ridiculed, filtered and eaten him alive.

Even if they still "talk" the worst thing Sirius could do now is to count on or base their strategy on hoping that the Government will somehow support the project. The cannot to afford any more mistakes, one more failure and they are done. The need guarantees, they need certainty. If they can't get it they should move on to a scenario they can have some degree of control over. Westminster muppets are too busy with their nonsense. And they were never really interested in supporting Sirius anyway. They also seem to be missing the importance of urgency. At that pace Sirius will go bust while they are "assessing the potential benefits of a project against the need to protect taxpayers’ money." The last thing we want to see is Fraser crying in media about rejected application again because this time it will really be too late to find an alternative.

Fraser was hopeful to have something for us by the end of the month, obviously it didn't materialize. Maybe there are in the middle of something meaningful, maybe they came to a standstill, maybe, maybe, maybe...Most of us have already taken a position, it's just a waiting game now. No reasons for panic or excitement either. Gov's busy with their nonsense. No leaks so far. Radio silence. If the news is bad there won't be much to salvage from the current levels, if it's relatively good we should witness some sudden re-rating. Either way, not much to discuss atm. We may as well just switch off and patiently wait for RNS notification email whenever it may be.

Nah, it's too quiet. The next one could be really price changing and public investors will again likely be the last to know. Sad reality of small investors kept in the dart until the very end. No need to lose sleep over it. You will know when the price will suddenly start to raise (or drop). We would have saved a fortune if we'd decided to act on that one simple indicator in the past.
