I can see the delusion re Gov support continues.....Please cut the nonsense, it's boring now. The case is now closed, even Fraser himself was very clear about it recently. Yes, Boris "supports" new infrastructure (mainly in his thoughts). He also supports construction, communications, transport, manufacturing, agriculture, national security, science, education, children, gender equality, fishing, forestry, environmental care and anything else you can think of. The mine will be built this way or the other. We know that. There is too much money to be made. The gov understands that. They will enjoy the benefits regardless. Taxes will be paid regardless. Locals employed regardless. Local charities supported regardless. Happy days. No need for unnecessary exposure. Just sit and wait. We are fast approaching Xmas break, it's only a few days away. If we don't hear from BOD soon, Sirius will be in the panic mode again in Jan. Only private money can save Sirius and let's be honest, we need it now. Let the Boris deal with Brexit by the end on Jan 2020, he has enough on his plate.

It always amazes me why on earth would anyone, having access to the abundance of reliable sources in today's world would even remotely consider sourcing any investment information from a well known tabloid, let alone discussing its content on the internet forum?

I can see many here don't fully appreciate the fact that the damage has already been done. Sirius' current valuation is not a coincidence, it reflects the recent failure to raise the required funds and the potential risk of insolvency. For the majority of the LT holders the dream of achieving any substantial returns is practically over. We are not talking xx baggers anymore (unless your average = current SP), we are talking breaking even and then maybe doubling or tripling your investment over the very long period of time (and that providing it all goes according to plan). Sirius' future saviours are not a charity - it will cost us a lot surely.

Talking £2 per share (58 bagger from today's levels) or any other ridiculous valuation in the current circumstances to me is a clear sign of either pursuing one's own agenda, lack of basic reasoning skills or a complete detachment from reality normally associated with some form of mental illness.

All speculations. Non of us really has a clue but what we do know is that the Company sort of prepared us for what's coming:

"The Company is seeking to have the Initial Scope funded from the proceeds of either the strategic investor process or through a structured debt financing package, either of which may incorporate the issue of new equity or an equity-like component to the financing package"

What's the extent of the damage to the current holders this time? Remain to be seen but considering the circumstances, catastrophic present valuation and based on SXX's historical performance we will likely to get a scenario that is less rosy than the original plans, aims and indications...

Yeah but why did you expect? The reality is that BOD of Sirius Minerals Plc with Chris Fraser behind the wheel FAILED to raise ST2 finance causing catastrophic drop in the valuation of the company. Not some shorters, de-rempers, internet boards, media, Government or invisible forces of evil - it was the management of the company failing to deliver that put the company on the verge of bankruptcy. And that plus uncertainty to continue operations as a going concern is reflected in the current SP. The Company can publish as many strategic reviews & plans as they want and indicate, hope and aim to secure the best route of finance as they did in the past but the reality is that market simply doesn't believe them anymore.

Should we be surprised? Not at all. They fu***cked up big time. Fact.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was no news whatsoever from the company this year. Not sure where that whole "before Christmas" thing came from but I can't recall any official source indicating in any way that we would get any news in December. I believe it was more the recent movement in share price combined with a few unverified stories from electrician / QS, upcoming election and a bit of old good ramping on the board that created that illusion of the imminent news.. :)

The thing is they don't have to know. If there is anybody (urban legends) that has the ability to move the SP either way, they will be making money on the movement alone.
