Styles&Wood Group plc, the integrated property services and project delivery specialist, has been appointed to carry out a £4.1 million refurbishment at the Royal Northern College of Music ("RNCM") in Manchester. The 34-week scheme will see Styles&Wood Projects business unit redevelop RNCM's prestigious concert hall, increasing its capacity and introducing new advanced technical facilities. (considering the market value is less than £9 million - the share price should be over 20p imo)

Thanks - also I tend to post on the shares I hold or held so just impressed really how the rise has continued and it does suggest stake building... again I repeat that if the company continues to expand/improve margin there will be further upside - I just think most of it is factored into the current price. BTW if I was deramping I would post 10-20 negative posts again but I do not like being negative - perhaps occasionally just a little cautious... anyway will not post again until either I buy back in or sometihing material happens - it's only fair to the thread gla

I got my calculation wrong any way. Share price 15p and NAV of 62p is plus 413%. Anyway Boris has 9% of the share issue - will he just walk away or sell out if terms are not agreed? Also as a shareholder it depends on when you invested - if you invested at £1 then obviously you rather they waited - but if you got in at 8p - 14p you gonna be happy with 100% profit...

It's historic NAV and there might be balance sheet changes (write-downs) since the last reported results. It really depends on what Boris is prepared to offer and what shareholders will accept. Remember the large shareholder might feel getting back their money isn't likely so will be happy to accept a sub NAV take out price. I cannot recall a takeover for 500% the current share price - can you? Still it is probably still a good decision to be invested here as a) No offer or extention might result in 40% drop to 10p again while b) an offer might result in a share price of 25p to 40p (imo).. risk/reward seems pretty decent here gla

everyone is entitled to their opinion - personally i did not suggest it was overpriced but that I could not see much further upside in the short term - please just look at the chart - up from 5p (my buy in price) to 30p plus in quite a short space of time. Should I have sold at 25p for 500% profit? Perhaps not - however I did not post here for sour grapes purposes - just to let new comers know it was looking a bit toppy - for now. It appears a short term correction is happening which make sense if others like me wish to bank profits - it leave another opportunity to add back to buy in gl

Post rec - yes, us long termers feel crowded out now by all the new comers but at least HHR is on the radar big time now... the next big move will depend on the expected corporate acquisition presuming it's earnings enhancing... I too cannot see far pass 10p at present considering there's 2,7 billion shares in issue but then again, i never expected QPP to go so high either gl

Probably a good idea to be in both shares but agree - at this point - it appears HHR have more upside especially considering results are due and probable corporate action. Factoring in the shares in issue now - an earnings enhancing acquisition should be able to push the share price into double figures later this year gl

Yes regular 10k trades and still hold a few so not negative - just that the higher it goes the more cautious I become. Stakebuilding and/or takeover is possible but the question is who - and at what price an offer? (40p - 50p). Maybe the company is performing better than any of us can imagine which is great but always good to monitor and have an exit price. (prob 40p for me) gl

The best thing the company can do for its shareholders is to update on the Singapore situ asap gl

You are correct - historic profit of £300k (which was a great turnaround from previous year) and earnings of 0.3p so historic PE ratio is current 100 (!). Not sure what current year profit forecasts are but say the profit was to increase TEN fold to £ 3 million this would give earnings of 3p or a PE of over 10. Is anyone expecting such an increase in profits? Not saying it cannot happen over the next couple of years but the share price is factoring in stellar results going forward - I'm just saying there is little room for any disappointments - in my humble opinion the share price is high enough for now but I welcome other views. Still hold a small amount gla

The share price deserved a re-rating but i am scratching my head now at the levels it's reaching - way above NAV, quite a high forward PE ratio and (IMO) factors in all current positives. However unless buying demand (or stake building) stops it will keep going up. The risk is that any change in trading or prospects may cause some serious profit taking. (I'm talking from the 5p days and sold most of mine at 25p gl to those who stayed in or kept adding)
