Thoughts on the trading update? Seems like market has reacted OTT and worth buying but not without risks GL

Might be worth holding off until next month as the Christmas period is really important this year and I suspect a trading update will be issued in early January - up to you but the risk/reward is fairly high at the moment with LFL still down on last year - then again, factor in the low share price... so probably cancels out the recent performance.. so in short - what do I know LOL

What we not passed a deadline recently? Perhaps after a fixed period, a company listing is automatically cancelled? Would make sense... however, if true, it means MTV cannot relist in its previous form.. it would have to list as a new company (I believe) .. which has consequences for shareholders of the old company... What's most annoying is that during the last ten months, the company has made no effort to communicate meaningful information to shareholders - even though delisted and no Nomad - they must have retained a list of shareholders at date of delisting... it has been left to good people like you (and jjerseygirl etc) to dig for information and really it should have not been left to you guys tbh - it should have just come from the company.. it leaves a nasty taste in the mouth... anyway GL with your other investments as I feel we are now near the end of the road sadly..

Well other frustrating shares include MTV (RIP) and MOS (see today RNS) just to name two... obviously if you have held this share for 12 years and seen such share price destruction then what has happen elsewhere is of no concern - just saying it is common - how many shares listed today were around 12 years ago? As for MIN - you can only decide whether to buy/hold/sell NOW and on future prospects - not past performance - and I accept the jury is out on this one until news GLA

Definitely life left in the area of tablet TV and further tech development - not sure there's any life left for MTV shareholders though - different matter

If you wish to leave your cash under the bed or in a savings account gaining less than 1% interest or a safe but dull FTSE share that's up to you. However please do not judge those who prefer higher risk and the AIM market - each to their own. Also as you know .. I have had losers :-( but also some winners :-) Helphire 1p to 17p... Fitbug 0.7p to 25p to name two... I will be honest - what I have learnt most over the years is a) to set a target for exiting (20p here.. as if atm) and b) put a stop loss in place.. for example, it would have helped those in Ctag recently.. however, you stay obsessed with PAA ... it's quite funny

If you do not mind me asking (just say).. what made you decide to sell? Lack of news? Drop in share price? Seem a better opportunity? I agree there is nothing worse than waiting for news.. and the times I have sold out of an investment only to see it spike up shortly afterwards is amazing... so personally will continue to hold just in case this acquisition takes place. Also interesting to see the volume this week - there should be 1-2 holding RNSs coming out soon GL here and elsewhere

If you feel there are so many crappy shares out there - that is not my fault. Why not spend some energy on telling the regulators to monitor these crappy companies a bit better - to strike off from the market the companies that are obviously telling hard truths, or just appear to have placing after placing to fund director salaries. That's my issue with you - why just PAA? Ypu really should be on dozens on threads telling investors they are investing in so called crappy shares.. BUT YOU DON'T!

As you can see - I post on various threads because I hold a wide number of investments to spread risk - you hardly ever post on LSE and when you do, it is just on here!!! BTW all of the threads I post on I am either a holder, an ex holder or considering an investment - I will never post on any thread were I have no intention of considering an investment even if in the distant future! So tell me again (because you refuse to say)... why are you here?

I wondered when you would pop up ... no other investments to worry about? pmsl It is the company that is saying they plan to make an acquisition before the year end .. not me, or any other poster. I guess it will be an all share acquisition or a RTO .. hopefully at a juicy premium :-)

If you think the gradual improvement in trading (although still negative LFL) will put a floor on the share price then now may be the time to buy/add if you can hold for the medium term. The drop in the share price has been far more than the drop in LFL for a start (down from around 90p).. the share price factored in a lot of potential growth and was on a excessive PE ratio at 90p - now it looks at least fair value imho... the next update will be key ie. further improvement or a standstill gla

It's very cold, quite dark and lifeless ... a bit like this BB lol ... the share price is going nowhere until the company confirms news .. apparently an acquisition before the year end!! Some decent trades today though..

Excellent that the company has responded to the recent share price drop with a trading update... hopefully the share price can start to recover a little now...

Current trading dire? Behind with recovery plans? RNS logged? Or.. (most likely) perhaps a funding and placing in the works? As you say - has to be a reason!

Just noticed the drop - I though 30p would be the floor... now looks more like 20p...

Contract extension worth £ 120,000 p.a. Excellent news to have an existing contract not due to expire to March 2017 being extended.. the company must be doing something right!

Hi, and glad to see you are still here! Every little does help - a 2% increase in my pay packet may not mean I can go on a holiday but it means a little more disposable income. So these contracts are fine and positive BUT of course if this company and share price is ever going to take off we will need to see some material size contracts at some point.. hopefully 2017 will be more productive on the contract front than 2016 GL HOLDERS
