Maybe a "reason or no reason" for share price movement RNS should be issued - it will only be fair for the company to confirm whether this is a p&d or if news is due very soon. Also holding RNSs are likely considering share volume recently

Hi, as the only LTH here I can confirm that the share price has been far higher - there was a premium placing at 156p several years ago - cannot confirm whether share price was £ 5.00 but share price has under performed for years and I believe there was also a share consolidation a while back. However, if you are looking at short term charts - then PAA is currently trading at a high

+44% on open. Obvious now something is pending imho :-)

Just to agree with spbhoy that I would advise others to dyor and acknowledge that this is a high risk investment but news is due which may improve outlook and share price significantly.. if bad news then I will consider whether to sell out GLA

No need to be rude - I obviously meant - as a LTH - I would like to see the RNS CONFIRMING an acquisition - not the ones promising one... btw I do need new specs!

The last premium placing was at 156p and probably they have now sold out - or can happen and depends on acquisition - need to see a RNS first !

Well I guess if there is an acquisition there may be a re-rating and that'a his target. SP was far higher several years ago..

Er No - LFL improved but have not increased.. still down on last year: We have continued to build on the progress noted in our last update with the improvements in sales and customer numbers being maintained through December as planned. Group sales were up 13% in the 5 week period versus the prior year, with total customer numbers also up 13% for the same period. Like-for-like sales were -3.8% for the 5 weeks ended 1 January 2017 having improved from -8.1% for the 4 weeks ended 27 November 2016. Like-for-like customer numbers were -4.2% having improved from -9.7% for the same periods. Still - as good a trading update as I expected and 30p really s/b the floor here imho

Just how many travel companies are there out there in the market? 50 plus? One going bust is sad news but not the end of the world for the sector.. companies, whatever size, need to adapt and plan ahead. I hope MIN is ready for the ride..

I cannot recall such a long period of substantial trading volume ... sometimes we would go weeks without a trade (or a post!)... now look at it (!)... it really does appear "something" is in the works... GL
