No, which is daft when only 75,000 shares were sold today - if it had been a million, I could understand it!

Fair point but can you think of a company listed on the market that said "our NAV is at a large premium to our current share price, so we will be issuing new shares at the NAV price". It doesn't happen. Shares can trade at a premium to their NAV (rare) or at a discount. I am not arguing about whether the NAV is valid here (probably not) but I am arguing the point that the placing was a) at a premium to current share price and b) was small compared to current share issue. However - as a shareholder - I would not be happy if the fund raisings were to carry on 4-5 times per year indefinitely... I would not be happy if the company did not provide updates several times per year.. and I would not be happy if the share price gets stuck at this level for a long period. However - as I can only speak for myself - I only have a small investment here at around the current price and accept the risk/reward ratio here. Understand if you rather be out watching in but when I look at shares I may invest in - I don't post there that often as I tend to post on my actual holdings or occasionally shares I have held. Ahhh, perhaps HE was invested 17 years ago and made a loss and cannot let go of his bad decision or perhaps he rec this share and it went wrong? I am obviously just guessing .. because he will not say !!!!!

Yes, agree. Not the company fault if their partner goes bust. Take on the business 100% going forward or new tie up. So much volume activity and this info is known yet the buying continues... Excellent point about value of listing too. I just wish the long term non involved interested non holder would let the shareholders worry about the pros and cons here.

If I recall - the last equity was placed at 156p and was at a premium at the time... of course no chance of any such premium the next time but maybe a premium none the less. Depends on the (as recent RNS) proposed acquisition.. one thing is for sure.. yep one party has now sold out - but at least one major party has joined the table - all these trades are unlikely to be just P&D small timers - some trades have been significant.. another holding RNS likely before the year end and.. hopefully...a corporate action... GL holders .. been a good week so far...

If your opinion is valid - then virtually every placing on every share (well AIM-small cap to be fair) is "gambling with everyone else's money". Well they did not ask me personally for any more money. I repeat the dilution is tiny. If it had been 1 for 1 and at a sharp discount - say 4p - I would agree.

When have you guys ever been positive? The placing is at 8p - a small PREMIUM to the current share price. The dilution is tiny - between 1-2%. The outlook has improved as per RNS "I am also pleased to inform shareholders that although we are still in the opening quarter of our current financial year, trading in our travel business has begun the year strongly and is comfortably ahead of the corresponding period last year. " The market has reacted with a rise in the share price. I agree that kicking the can down the year re the warrants is not positive - but seen it happen so often elsewhere too. In short - not sure why you guys are so down beat - well I do actually - one of you is a non holder and .. for whatever reason - has a big issue with this company were I believe no news will be received positively... at least the market - for today at least - thinks otherwise...

Interesting... perhaps a move into movies? :-) Well we should keep a few holding RNSs before he year end with 30% of the share issue traded today. Oynx (probably) wanted to sell and 1-2 parties were prepared to buy - good business for both sides? Keep looking for the red dot - although the only red dot I might see tomorrow will be in my vision after a few too many business lunch cognacs :-)

OMG look at the recent buying volume - impressive for this share. Of course it might be yet another P & D but the company did say an acquisition of sorts may happen before the end of the year... a connection?

I guess the red dot must go off on your computer to warn you that someone has posted on PAA and you automatically must counter any positive sentiment. My definition of trolling is simple - a poster with an unknown agenda who targets a particular share for a long period - and just that share. OK perhaps with good reason due to dire share price performance - that we can agree on - but target none the less. OK also perhaps you have no connection with the company but then perhaps you can clarify what it is about PAA that drives you to target it so much. Something had to have happen in my honest opinion for you to be so obsessed here - and I give you an opportunity to put this matter to bed once and for all - otherwise who can blame me for guessing what your motives are? Any way I will not post again here until the next RNS and I am doing ok with various investments at the moment - of course some will not be performing well - that's life if you hold 10+ investments to dilute risk at any one time - can you honestly tell me you have never had a dud - do not hold an investment that is not performing that well? Just focus on your own portfolio and let me focus on mine - thanks. I wish all - including you - a good investing 2017

It shouldn't bother you - we are the only few on here! The other poster has been trolling PAA for years and years - no reason ever given - probably because it would give his game away. He must have a connection - past or present - to the CEO or company.. oh, and at least I owe shares here so can explain my reasons for regular posting here. Anyway the AGM is never at the same time per year - probably when he can be bothered to travel to the UK but worth enquiring - which I will in the new year if this promised acquisition does not materialise...

If I was to guess the outcome it would be a 1p rights issue followed by a 1 for 10 share consolidation - but as you say, we will still have a listing and can then consider whether to average down... fingers crossed and sorry was not trying to cause a problem - I have not looked in here for a while myself (so pot kettle black comes to mind - for myself) but just was surprised by the current lack of posting interest - but as you say, with good reason GL

Perhaps I should have been clearer- compared to how active this thread was 2-3 months ago it is now virtually dead. OK perhaps with good reason. Some sold up... Some have given up.. Some are fed up.. and some have nothing to post. However when compared to MTV - delisted and WRN - suspended two years - both still very active threads - I am making an observation that usually posters still find issues to talk about! Then again there is not the us v them here - or trolls - or excessive rampers - so perhaps it's best that it is quiet here!

Agree about Greece - but apparently it might take the UK ten years to negotiate a trade deal post triggering Article 50 (although I take all this Brexit news with a pinch of salt).. my point is that the EU will not let any country leave the EU on reasonable terms imo - but Greece have been treated badly by the EU and personally I would want out if living there

Well if successful, funds will be needed (I guess) for the development so yeah a placing is likely to happen - just hope it's not at a sharp discount (say 3p) .. just look what damage can be done with discounted placings ie. MOS. You must remember MIN is not unusual in that fund raisings happen across the market - especially on small cap and AIM shares.. loads of shares under performing at the moment so hard to pick winners for next year - well I am going to spend some time over the festive period trying to pick a few shares for 2017 - whether MIN will be one up them is unknown (ie. whether I will sell out completely or add) but some news would be useful to decide.. (hint to company)

Results out today -- not had a chance to look yet but no reaction from the markets... been in and out of this share over the years - might dip my toes back in soon GLA

Yes I post on WRN - that's because I made a nice profit trading the share in 2014 and may consider reinvesting IF the company ever relists... you see, I post on countless shares and always because I either held, hold or may invest. I would never post on a share I had no intention of investing in and perhaps one day you will get round to being honest about WHY YOU ARE HERE. Btw worrying about were I am posting is stalking material in my book .. go get a grip and worry about your investments instead of what every one else is doing. Finally health and happiness if far more important than having an extra digit than every one else in my bank account - you can't take it with you so why care whether I am worth half a million or five million - none of your business nor is my investment methods. As for PAA - significant volume again so news is coming imho - good or bad
