The company has said it is looking at opportunities and one or more acquisitions. Its there in black and white in recent RNSs. This is a discussion website so people will discuss what this could mean. Sensible people can tell the nonsense from the possible re comments.

Would have thought it would be pretty hard to short these small AIM shares but not a tool I use - gl lets see were we end up today

All we know is that the company is looking for acquisitions - lets wait and see whether any acquisition makes a difference here or not - whether news is this month or later in the year...

I waited well over a year for PAA to spike + 300% and although I am not saying it will happen here - MIN is the type of share were a significant change in the share price can happen - either way. BTW I am not interested - like others - on the past performance - I only acquired shares late last year - I am interested in the future. Past performance is a guide but no guarantee of future performance. I just wish you spend as much energy telling us were to buy as you spend telling us were to sell !!

Agree 50/50 for market maker code for RNS coming. However considering the share volume recently, the most likely RNS next will be a "holdings" RNS - as large holders like metalgun1 added - then sold out - feel sorry for the nomad/company trying to keep up with what is the current list of shareholders to be honest ! It's changing every day!

Hi, well done. Were you the poster who last week was going to sell then changed his mind and said he was staying to 50p .. and then changed his mind again and said he would stay to 60p? Of course understand why you have sold out - good timing - but in future best not say you are holding to x price but then sell out without saying - hence why some will say you are a ramper. I always say when I sell - it's only fair - as we are all keen to say when we buy... GL elsewhere

If he had said "ticket sales have the potential to reach £5 million..." that would be "fine" as £20 per ticket is quite cheap now a days... however, on this occasion I agree with you... nothing is yet set in stone.. lets see a RNS with an acquisition - then we can talk revenue/profits etc

Well every AIM dog usually has its day in the sun - look at one of my long term holdings PAA this week! Sometimes you need to buy low and sit and wait - even if for months to be rewarded! gl

Well as one of the only 2-3 LTHs here - I can tell you all that until recently this thread was lucky to have more than one post per week here. There has only been one poster negative posting here during this time (to be fair he has held this position for years whatever the share price). So for there suddenly to be loads of experts is quite funny - especially derampers who did not probably know - or definitely did not care - until yesterday about PAA. Pleased to see so many new posters and holders but remember this is still risky and David C has this one opportunity to make an acquisition and put PAA on the map - otherwise we will soon be back to the one post per week days gl

It's a fair question to ask why David C keeps loaning the company money though. Either he does not wish to accept failure ie. delisting OR he still harbours plans and has found a new direction to take the company into. Final point - past performance is never a guarantee guide to future performance - of course it's relevant but does not mean a share can suddenly be transformed under the right circumstances. No ramp - agree still no guarantee of an acquisition but I really do not think all this recent interest is wholly down to pump and dumpers because volume has been high for 3 weeks now gl

I recall seeing two speeding tickets in the same day last year on a share - if some are convinced news is coming they will not let go... others are wise enough to trade .. there's always another time gla

..but it happens all the time.. look at the pumping to get Ctag to 24p ... never worth that .. hard to even justify current share price.. my point is D Y O R and only take comments on here as one piece of your research.. oh, and never invest on a spike as 9/10 times it will go wrong

Well I don't think I was one of the pumpers today... two points that are clear 1) the company is looking at acquisitions - could be next week, month or even year... 2) low free float means sharp movements - hopefully now the interest will die back down to ACTUAL news.. still potential .. depending on acquisition so one to watch if on the outside gl

There's always 3-4 such rises every year on AIM (FITB for example a while back).. sometimes legit.. sometimes not..

Looks like our regular tit for tat arguments have been blown away today - just the two of us (with the odd exception) for years and now look at it! I really hope there is substance here (appears to be)... but I am just happy with the gain - sometimes you have to not look at whether you think a company balance sheet is weak - or whether you question the long term future - sometimes... you should be willing to TRADE a share which I hoped you considered here over the last week or two. Now we need a RNS from the company. GL all - and draft, let me know if / when you sell please and do not just disappear :-)

Not necessary - volume has been high since around 20th December - almost every day since 100,000 plus shares have been traded and the share price has continued to gradually creep upwards. There was just the one RNS during this period. Of course such a large spike has to be treated with caution and the company will be wise to issue a RNS sooner rather than later

Today is an example of why I invest in this market - of course it's exceptionally risky - of course a fair share of companies go bust - but almost all AIM shares have a day like day (usually once or twice a year) .. they have the most potential to move sharply either way. I have no idea were this is going - we could be back to 10p or 80p by the end of this week . As long as you hold various AIM shares .. you should do ok over the longer term GLA holding for now

If you know the make up of the company you will see there are quire a few subsidiaries were David C also has an interest - indeed there has been debate on here in the past on what parts are 100% owned by PAA - what parts are 100% owned by David C - and what parts are a mixture! It's clear to me that whether David C owes 100% of Brick or not - he is likely to involve PAA to some degree - otherwise why put the word "acquisition" in a RNS? GLA :-))

All I know is that the company expected to make an acquisition by the end of 2016 - now the latest RNS suggests activity this year... let's wait and see but I am only a LTH because I did not wish to sell at a loss (stubborn lol).. I now have the tough decision whether to sell out or hold in case of news - whatever I decide will probably be the wrong decision knowing me!
