Perhaps AB commissioned this limited batch of AFC H2 gin in celebration of the ABB 100kW system being successfully deployed ? ....anyhow it has found a slot on the AFC Case studies board before Mace and Kier .... https://www.afcenergy.com/case-studies
Easy to see how the Power Tower would fit in at the distillery... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEUVPAl3E24&list=PLH0dlOdhKOYTOfLpFU0V1USXzP6lw3YBw ...Maybe Surrey Copper Distillery could produce a new video on how they have created the AFC H2 gin .... featuring the Power Tower in full operation ....
Well Kier seem happy with the battery storage units .....they are even prepared to publish some facts and figures to back up choice ...... https://www.kier.co.uk/media/news-releases/kier-is-first-uk-business-to-mandate-battery-storage-units-to-help-achieve-its-net-zero-carbon-goals/ ... lets hope they will soon publish some facts and figures regarding the Power Tower installations .
Seems to have slipped a little since the deployment announcement in the interim report back in June ..... " Power Tower system leased to Kier for South West construction site deployment in August 2022 (signed post period-end) " Kier just announced they are now switching to battery storage units ...... will they still want a Power Tower ?
Why would any AFC shareholder be happy to lose the contract with Extreme E .....With the potential in our new products we could still supply power for all Extreme E needs ......and dont forget the St Helena... " NOT ELECTRIC YET " retro fitting the St Helena is still one to consider....especially when you look at our involvement with VARD .....
In the original Extreme E contract RNS ......They mentioned " Agreed marketing rights with Extreme E" ....That was never clearly explained ......This now looks like an example of some "Agreed marketing rights "...... looks like the Kaizen unit requires 70 kW to power it .....will that mean be more HVO fuelled GenSets....or will there be an abundance of AFC Power Towers to finally replace those HVO GenSets ....
In September 2021 we had a Mid -Season Extreme E update .... https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/AFC/extreme-e-mid-season-update-vg5q6hpz0cwvqdy.html ...This year AFC have deemed it not necessary to follow up with a 2022 Mid-Season update... Anyone know why not ?
It has been six months since ABB announced the completion of the proof of concept of the Ammonia based fuel cell ..... https://datacenternews.asia/amp/story/abb-unlocks-sustainable-energy-upgrades-for-data-centers ..we also know that Acciona witnessed an Ammonia based fuel cell on their vist to Dunsfold last November .....using this information is it likely that we will see a deployment soon using the Ammonia Cracker system .....the ABB 100 kW system perhaps ?
AFC have been working in tandem with Power-Logistic on the Extreme E race series .... https://www.powerlog.co.uk/power-logistics-race-ahead-in-sustainable-temporary-event-power-as-they-secure-contract-with-extreme-e/
From the AFC website you can see the Methanol Fuel Tower appears to be an add on to the Power Tower and not integrated into it .....i wonder if the real thing is much different in production form ..... https://www.afcenergy.com/our-offering/technology-products ....Scroll to bottom of the page .
If you compare the last set of photos of the Keltbray Power Tower ....can that photo of the Electrical components really be part of the same system ?.....We know the Power Tower was assembled in the Keltbray compound ....and from the photo with AFC employees doing that assembly you can clearly see the compound fencing through the open cabinet ....yet the photo from the Dunsfold factory shows fully assembled electrical components ......more confusion or is this part of the "new Power Tower " ... https://www.keltbray.com/2022/10/26/uk-first-keltbray-trials-hydrogen-fuel-cell-technology-on-m621-project/
