Back in November i asked this question .....with no response at all ......was hoping to find the answer in the expected End Of Year Operational Report ....nope ......So i ask again ......." Would VARD have been asked to make an upfront payment for the development work that AFC are undertaking for the 2 x 600 Kw systems for the Zero Coaster project ......and is it likely that Ricardo will be involved " .
Contructivenews ...... Back in December 2021 ....AB made a presentation to the MOD at Bovington in Dorset ...which was part of Extreme E Jurassic X-prix week end ..... https://www.linkedin.com/posts/afc-energy-plc_big-thanks-to-the-uks-ministry-of-defence-activity-6876828698524360704-TVqD
I am still confused as to why AB went to Spain to promote the Power Tower and never mentioned the Methanol Tower .....That was left to Dr Mike Rendall to explain several hours after the YouTube video appeared......We are all aware that the Flex Fuel systems have hugh cost advantages over the PEM fuel cell systems of our competitors ....that was a perfect opportunity for AB to speak about the Flex Fuel systems ....but he chose not to take that opportunity....an offical update cant arrive soon enough .

If the Acciona video was filmed post Methanol Tower trial then why did AB not bring that achievemt into the interview ?.....The Methanol Tower is after all a big part of the flex fuel program.....it was clearly filmed pre Methanol Tower deployment.
Daz9643....Do AFC have a sales team ? ....Since Tom Pollard bid farewell i was not aware anyone was actually invoved in sales ....David Hatherill and Mark Barnes were just advisors ....so any selling would be down to AB.......Maybe AB was in Spain to sign some agreement for the Methanol Tower ....But why it has taken 3 months to release this video is not clear.
Gmf1991...... We all hope that AFC did indeed deliver a Power Tower to Kier .......However there was some discussions here last week as to why it has not been confirmed on the AFC website or featured in the case studies page ....any ideas ? https://www.afcenergy.com/case-studies ...What we do know is that Kier have trialled a fuel cell system from another supplier ... https://www.highwaysmagazine.co.uk/Kier-trials-hydrogen-generator-on-A585-scheme/10804
Deep in the AFC website is something called the "QCA Code".....This is one paragragh from that code .... (just interested to see if you all feel that code is being applied or how you want to interpret the wording ).
" Communicate how the Company is governed and is performing by maintaining a dialogue with shareholders and other relevant stakeholders "
" The Board places a high priority on regular communications with its various stakeholder groups and aims to ensure that all communications concerning the activities are clear, fair and accurate. AFC Energy’s website is regularly updated with new Company announcements and details of forthcoming presentations and events " The whole page can be found here https://www.afcenergy.com/investors/aim-rule-26/corporate-governance
Goatlegs ....You have convinced yourself that a system has been delivered to Kier .....so why do you think that this has not been acknowledged on the website...or perhaps you can post a link to that delivery ?
Thanks Ogggs .......Yes i remember that proactive report well .....but the delivery of that system has never been confirmed by AFC on the website or ...as far as i am aware no photos or comments have appeared on social media platforms regarding the Kier system ......it would help if someone could post links to the system delivery .
We can clearly see from the AFC website case studies that systems are on trial at Acciona ...Keltbray ....Mace/Dragados but there is no confirmation of the Kier system on trial ....or have i missed something ? https://www.afcenergy.com/case-studies
joaung1 ..... That is not the report that is being questioned ..... The AFC Year End Operating Statement is the report that is being questioned ....have a look at the last report for 2021.. https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/AFC/year-end-operating-statement-ohe9radk7ls1rq5.html The AFC year is to Octobet 31st of that year .....hope this helps .
Skid mounted solutions were mentioned in the BK Gulf agreement over 2 years ago ... " BK Gulf will also work alongside AFC Energy in the provision of more bespoke skid mounted solutions where containers are not deemed appropriate for a given use case, building upon the value engineering work expected to be completed over the next couple of months " ...https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/AFC/manufacturing-contract-with-bk-gulf-5gka5vhwtwwcex5.html ...Will the VARD systems be skid mounted for the zero coasters ?
Sono***un ...... I was not sure what your earlier post was referring to.... maybe if you had started a new thread about 2-3 year wait for sales to arrive ...it would have been a bit clearer...anyway i think the ABB system has been recorded as a sale .....and also the Julich system ....so maybe more sales will arrive for the overseas market... VARD ?...Altaaqa ?... ahead of the UK market .....the pending update may help .
Taskmaster ....Back in January i posted this link ..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOrS6buynAk .....entertaining insight into Klaus.
