RE: Operating PROFIT rises4 Aug 2024 16:28
Reading the news over the weekend the sell off on the US markets may well continue into next week. So our p/f's are in for another battering. Fridays 12.45% drop for CPI was, for me, hugely market related. So a testing of the low 16's is a stark possibility, maybe 15's. Who knows! What i do know for certain is that Capita is doing well as a company. Again, the glaring dissconnect of company to SP.
On the good news front i have managed to find some spare capital. (without having to sell any body parts...lol) Not a lot by the standards of many on here, but enough to allow me to top up. My cunning plan is to buy now in the hope that come April 6 next year i can Bed & ISA them. We will have had Dec update, FY'24 Results in March & RNS's too. By then i believe 15/16/17p will be seen to have been a bargain. In my dealing a/c (not ISA) so Reeves will probably stiff me for as much CGT as she can, bless her......
