@Tren, i know like me you have bought for the med/long term. But i wonder if those on here with a more 'traders' view might take a punt at c18.5 to exit in the 19's on that good chance of a bounce after the news drops. Suggesting the SP is held back pending the payment confirmation.....is a quick 10% to be had traders??

@All, i can't imagine the buyer will walk away from the £20 Million deposit they have paid.

I'm all for as much info/data as possible. It's not for the poster to know if any recipient finds it usefull or not. Just thanks for posting it is my take.....

You may be correct there Tren. We've been at +/-18.5 for a few days, like the market is waiting for something. I think the money will arrive and then the SP will rise; but by how much i couldn't guess.

Real movement might have to wait for Dec update. Tho, whereas JL was a poor communicator, AH does it on steroids. Am sure he will have something to say twixt now and then.....

@broom, don't we only see the shorts interest above 0.5%? So am i correct in assuming that there may be many funds below that figure, say 0.49%, that we are not aware of?

Well, AH did say that the balance of the money from the C1 sale, c£180m(?), would be paid towards the end of August. So yes, leaving us all chewing our nails. Only tomorrow remains, so a RNS at 7am with the expected news might put some life back into the SP. It's a waiting game, but as Capita shareholders, we are all well used to being patient.....

My experience on foreign call centres is with Carole Nash Insurance. They have nobody in the UK and use a call centre in South Africa. They have only Indian agents with such strong accents my Yorkshire ears simply can not understand a word. If i ever had to call for a claim, i really don't know how i would cope. Hope it's not one of ours!

Have had JO on Filter for a couple of weeks. Registered here on LSE July 2023. So why did it take this 'know all' banker over a year to make their first post? Would it be that they registered several names on that date and use them up as each one is worn/sussed out. Something stinks here!

@NF, you're a great asset to this forum. Am only saying that often quality is better than quantity. Something JO & SK know not. I come here to be informed on Capita, not that someone has been a banker for 30 years.

In my 'real' world if someone boasts about how wonderful they are, they almost certainly aren't. Remember NF, there are a lot of dreamers come to these boards, of which i have never thought of you as one.
