@Matt, agree with all that. Trump is trashing the Dollar to make it cheaper for US companies to export. (+ other reasons) $1.37 is high, to me anyway. That's a lot of Dollars to buy a quid. So, i can't see US PEq looking at Capita. Just my view.

Of course, the FX is crippling my US assets like Meta, Coin & Googl, but only if i sell.

Extremely basic, so don't 'string me up', but if Capita can show the same £260m Operating Profit by 2027 as Serco, then it's cap should be roughly the same?

At the same cap as Serco thats 5.7x £3.18 x 5.7 comes to £18.12 a share ( i told you it was basic)

I don't see massive buying if AFVFN Trades are accurate .Buys 217k Sells 289k

More Sells, but the SP keeps on rising......

Fully agree Cap, AH & has team have all bought in big, so can not see them selling now so a buyer can reap the benefits

Well, if we don't get a drop off in SP from mid afternoon tomorrow as traders close their weekly positions before flying out to Portugal, then summats up. Word has got out to 'go long CPI'...

Re; Possible takeover. Don't think it's coming or indeed AH would allow it. But the weak dollar at $1.38 might make some of the Yanks think again....

@Go, odd isn't it. Old Trump is doing all he can with tariff's & trashing the dollar to get more exported jobs brought back to the good 'ol USA.

@H, i don't know how accurate this is, but Investing.com have Serco P/E at 49.5x

Whereas they quote Capita at 4.5x P/E

Which would give merit to your 10x point....although might be wise to check these figures elsewhere

I wonder how much the Labour Gov't increase in NI contributions will encourage companies like Capita to move their operations overseas?

It's a shame for those wonderful contact centre operatives here, who may well have voted Labour, and now see their job 'exported'.

Today's H1 update from Serco is worth a llok over, IMV.

They forcast FY Rev of £4.9bn Op Profit of £260m Debt is at £245m

Serco's market cap is £2bn

How does that compare to where AH wants Capita's numbers to be? Looks on the face of it that our market cap/share price is well low.....

I have 305.5 on my monitor. Reiterate my view that 300 is forming a support & that the SP will build from that. Serco came out with strong first half numbers today.

Soon be at 330 T......

@Marcus, i see circ300p as becomming the new support level, having been resistance previously. But, unless you are wanting to try and trade the fluctuations in the share price, it matters not. Better, as a LTH, to ignore this and concentrate your efforts on watching the company. For me, there has been a dissconnect between the share price/market cap and the company for some time. Many well informed on here have alluded to that.

The share price only really matters to folks like Aim, who are self-confessed traders.
