All those predictions of 210/220p at close of play seem far from the mark so far. Goes to show what a fools errand trying to predict SP movements on a daily basis is. Those who sold in the hope of buying back in might come to regret that strategy. For me it was a good update. Business as usual; progress being made.

LGEN have announced today a target to make £600m annual profit by 2028 and my shares are down 1.5%

Not quite the rout that was predicted, so far

But Aim, you're looking at it through the eyes of a trader. Very short term movements in the SP hoping to trade the peaks n trough's. Which is fine.

I don't think that is the strategy of most on here. Speaking for myself, i am looking to hold 2026/27 (perhaps beyond). Once the FCF kicks in i also believe Capita will make the radar of others and a bid could be received. Remember AH has form with this in the past. I don't see him being around in 5/10 years. Turn it round, sell it off, move on to the next....

But you are right in that we are announcing an update/results into a poor macro climate; it's happened before.....

@Aim, so why can't you make sensible contributions like that more often? Instead you write sh*te that results in some folks filtering you.

Hope being out works out for you (as a trader), but you might find the SP reacts on forward guidance and you are caught the wrong side.

Like a lot on here, i'm firmly in for the med/long term.

I bought Meta when the SP fell off a cliff and they have done very well for me since. Have built up 220 shares which i will be looking the sell at some point. They are held within my IWEB ISA. So am looking for a broker with a compettive FX rate

I do the same Terry. Buy with IWEB and transfer to HL for long term hold. Plus IWEB divi tax rate is 30%, HL 15%.

Do you have any US stocks? If so, who do you use. I am buying mine with IWEB but i think i can get a better deal. They charge 1.5% FX. Interactive Brokers are, i think, 0.7%

Very well said Max. I used to contribute often but seldom visit here now, tho still invested. He/she has done exactly the same on Vodafone board. But certain people just can't resist taking the bait. If they didn't he/she would b**ger off. Shame really, sad even.

Then there's the so called 'traders'. Wannabe Gordon Gekko's or Bobby Axelrod's. Like all gamblers, crowing about their wins but never letting on when they lose. Nice to see an almost 30% rise since share split eh.....
