I don't think expecting '300 by Friday' too much to have expected.

Look at the incredible performance of the share price since reverse split. From 191p on 29/Apr the share price has risen 51% to it's high last Thursday of 289p. So, for me, '300 by Friday' seemed a reasonable ask.

Since the TU on Tuesday the share price increased from 247p to 289p at one point Thursday; so 17% there. The price was always going to come under some downward pressure as traders closed their positions for the weekend, and on very low volume i must add.

Ok, the market will react poorly to Trumps 'Bunker Busting' weekend, but i don't see CPI share price being crippled. In fact i am hoping Trump has gifted me another golden opportunity to pick up some more bargains. Would expect true traders might see it this way also.....

RIO & BHP are on my radar....

Not at all sure how others on here do their investing, but i tend to group my portfolio into Divi shares & Growth shares. For far too many years now Capita has fitted into my Growth p/f, but hope one day it might move over and become one of my dividend payers. My Growth p/f at the moment consists of CPI, Meta, Coin, Googl. With my Divi p/f holding Av, Lgen, Rio, Dec & Vod. But, there is aome crossover between the two. Meta & Googl do pay a divi, but it's very tiny so is in Growth. Also, Vod is in divi but am in @c70p so has some growth potential. Am watching to buy more RIO & also start building a position in BHP, to add to my divi p/f.

I think today the SP will just 'bob' along with some downward pressure towards EoD as traders close off.

A 275p close would be 18.33 in old money; i'll take that as not long ago it was 12p.

From 287, that's a c9% drop to buy back. Think there's more of a chance of a small drop in SP Fri PM as traders take weekly punt profits. But see the SP carrying on it's upward rise next week. Sounds to me like the risk is too high, but good luck if you do go for it C

Am also in DEC (from just before share dilution & divi drop). Need £11.75 to break even there. Then i might cash in; Rusty is doing my blood pressure no good at all. Bought RIO this morning on the drop.....

@H, kind of agree with that, being a LTH here.

But come on you traders. Show us all what you can do. Educate us. Make a purchase at a certain price, then tell us all on here straight away. Then, when the price has gone up, which it always does, & you have sold out at a profit, wack it up on the board here for us all to marvel at your wisdom.

@Aim, genuinely love to hear about your trades. But could you kindly tell us the minute you buy & at what price. Then when you sell immediatly announce it to the board for us all to learn just how it's done. Telling us retrospectively makes you seem like a duck pal.....

Credit where due; he put his hands up yesterday saying he got it wrong, when prompted. A lot wouldn't....

I see this as an example of 'buy n hold' wins over trying to trade the highs n lows....have tried trading the odd share and basically i'm c*ap at it...

The nett result is that Amazon are able to vastly improve their business model and will need far fewer people to do it

Some very honest messages tho, appreciate that. Perhaps a drop off in SP to end of day as folks take profits. But overall i, among many here i think, see Capita as an up & coming company with a SP to match. Next stop H1 August; the 4th i think.....

But this is the point to me Go. If people want to come on here and crow about how much money they are making trading Capita, they should stick around when they get it wrong and 'own' it. When the SP was in the red earlier today they were all over here with their predictions of doom n gloom....
