If you haven't got FOMO now14 Jan 2021 23:10
You never will. The way I read the RNS was that the most time consuming part of the process is over. National holidays have been the final hurdle preventing the relevant parties getting together to finalise matters.
Even the standard disclaimer was worded in such a way that some sort of deal is pretty much there.
"'Until' a transaction is finally concluded".. As my kids would say, "OBVS".. Yes, as grumpy old Yorkshireman that abbreviation is as annoying as it gets but even I, who has had posts removed for probably not be rampy enough, can read between the lines on that.
They could have finished it with a simple, "there can be no guarantee". Like the so called speeding ticket which was worded in a way that said, we know the reason, you know the reason, we're just not allowed to say.
I'm not going to tell folks not to sell, couldn't give a stuff if people do. Today's RNS was about as good as it gets for me; we wanted communication we got it, the BOD probably knew folks might sell to have a play about elsewhere, they don't care. But they and holders of EUA won't care two stuffs if you can't get back in again.
I think I went 98p before, this must be going Β£1.30+. Obvs :) not Hoochy's 35 nicker but I'd be happy at Monty R one tenth of that. :)
