Fair point CTC, it provides a bit more reassurance. But if there is a clause in there which enables them to renege on a deal with a British company, which would effectively frook said British company, I could see the Chinese helping out the Russians.
I'm not overly confident Russian insolvency practitioners would leave much for shareholders of a UK company, regardless of assets, having seen the way shareholders get done over by UK insolvency practitioners when there's no war on.
The clever arse board could well have played themselves into checkmate. There's players out there who can wait ages for EUA's money to run out.
And I can't see any institutional investor wanting to fill the EUA begging bowl the next time it comes out. They're sure as fook not getting a penny from me and I expect most PIs would feel the same.
