Trades don't justify fall . Normal service resumed on low volume.

In January, we shared I believe, the realisation that we needed a 50% rise just to return to 100 and an almost unreasonable 100% to get back to 140ish. ( That old unfair mathematics of % rise being double the fall).
I recall wondering how it might be....even though with pmo we were quite familiar with unusual movement.
So the first part, the 50%, is almost complete. Hopefully the second is round the corner.
Personally I'm holding for above 150. Not trading.
Speaking of unusual movements....the playground is often full of children.

Historically of course we have always performed well against poorly equipped enemies.

Similar objections as per my previous post.
The difference being your fears are based on something akin to weather forecasting.....it rained last April with severe flooding in the SW..... therefore wear Wellington boots for the next few weeks. Ignoring of course climate change in the process.

Two potential weaknesses with your post -
1. The petrol price prophecies are questionable.... little evidence for such accuracy.
2. Using last year's pmo SP behaviour ignores potential future developments including Zama, Tolmount and rumoured asset purchases in the NS.

Next few weeks I think though much depends, as usual, on oil.
The momentum has changed and we can expect zama update, possible asset increases, greater fcf with oil stable.
We've seen how PMO can rise and surprise ( equally falls can be brutal, irrational and confusing).
Regardless, something has changed the recent torpor and Goldman Sachs are not here in a charitable capacity.

May have impacted upon the Friday guessing game...
As always with pmo today could be good or disappointing.... that's the reality....

In which case we might assume they are instructed to help pmo in future purchases.

Re the recent frequent activity.
I assume they are working on behalf of pmo, thus permitting trade activity.
The alternative is they are working independently with knowledge.
As I understand it, the former is legal.

Regardless of the potential positives is unlikely to cause any significant rise until those who pull the strings, puppet masters, decide it's appropriate to release the brake. Shocking manipulation but possibly with the blessing of TD and planners.
