I can understand people selling into each rise: when artificial resistance dominates then any profit is welcome. The counterpoint is that rises are weak without either threats of war or huge news ( this latter rarely sustainable owing to herd instinct created through shorting companies.

Smoke and mirrors etc.while Iran may be unpleasant in many ways USA is a serious warmonger with control over most of the media. And in Trump we have a man morally distanced from both truth and integrity.
We also have a public, on both sides of the sea, who prefer simple lies to complex truths.

Perhaps put the hat down and look at a map...straits of Hormuz, Iranian navy patrol that area all the time.
Ask yourself why they'd do it... zero benefits especially with Japanese delegates in Tehran...

SP=mcap÷shares issue. But you know that....I also feel our SP should be similar to theirs.
A better comparison is mcap where TLW are 4 times. Then there's debt, geopolitics, water depth, AND SHORTING

While I have little respect for either my sympathy is with Iran. Their essential lifeline of oil is essential to the people.
Trump's unilateral withdrawal from the agreement and subsequent sanctions will, again, cause untold suffering.
Saudi Arabia meanwhile can bomb children in Yemen, kill a journalist and receive billions in aid.

Job?
Level playing field.
No manipulation.
Complete transparency.
Private investors treated with respect.
All's well with the market.
