Why is it that so many seem to refuse to recognise the dire economic data, unemployment and consequent impact on investment and discretionary spending?
Baffling.
Like most, I grabbed some easy profits, trading in and out as hammered stocks made a small recovery. I'm finding it difficult now.
Everywhere I look I see overpriced shares waiting to fall out of control.
Anyway, best of luck in this distinctly different market.

Last night, as I read this board, I thought I was going to miss an opportunity.
Since 2015 I'd been in PMO. Suffered the ups and downs, jam tomorrow. I was treated badly, for sure. Then we see lights but warrants etc, another spanner! A rocky road, bandits around every bend.
So, yes, like many others, I had mixed feelings about the possibility of a T/O, of missing out of a rocket rise this morning, of PMO being sold too cheaply....was it for this I lost sleep in 2016-18!
Then damp squib time. Again.
Where will it settle?
The past two weeks have been dull, directionless and devoid of opportunities in PMO. I'm looking elsewhere but this cursed stock has its claws in me.

So the rumour was just that ( or so it seems) and the chance of quick money evaporated. People are angry. That easy money was mine! they cry!
So someone is to blame, or a conspiracy lurks.
The fall today cannot be related to anything else. Happening. Everywhere.

Little reason to retreat to 920. Intraday possibly to 925 but the Dividend yield suggests 935ish .
A gradual rise over the next few weeks to 10.00 perhaps. Aimho

My mini-adventure into another oil company is proving rather profitable already. Cunning or fortuitous? No idea.
It means more funds to plough into PMO, should I wish.
So dispiriting having money tied up with a company treading water/oil/ time. An aRREsting opportunity.

Coldjoe....my feelings exactly. Could double and still be cheap. No debt! I've been attached to PMO for years and haven't really explored many explorers. The usual suspects. But RRE is seriously interesting.

Mcap less than 130 mill. PMO or RRE tomorrow ? These are the type of decisions we must make each day.....or....to resist the urge, preserve capital and await another opportunity. Such volatile times. But I really don't like to be out.

The company still stuck to its long-term forecast of $60 a barrel and $3 per million Btu for natural gas, but said it will take until 2023 for prices to return to this level. For the current year, it expects an average Brent price of $35 a barrel, rising to $40 next year.

Under normal/pre covid conditions, I would consider these challenging but exciting.
Presently, however, with USA in crises and more future crises, oil unpredictable, etc, these matters are more worrying than exciting. I'm itching to buy this and others, but haven't ever felt quite so cautious. Kind regards.

And Trump awarded himself 10/10 for his treatment of the pandemic problem ( not the virus, he chose Domestic, taken orally, you will recall).

I can be smug at present I suppose but I'm looking for a safe entry level and can't see it. For three months it's been transparent and predictable.
Could reach low 40s I think but pmo is anything but predictable.

Saw the image and felt confused actually. Why are they all so angry? So open mouthed ( threatening to spread the virus?)? So American? So huge? A symbol of and symptom of a confused set of states!

A dreadful but likely scenario. Market currently fuelled by FOMO.... easy money to be made......but it will turn. Debt will increase unemployment will increase debt.

Combined with last week's shenanigans, might well dent retail confidence. Institutional is another matter.
I bought earlier this year at 43. Fell to 29 I think before recent rise.
Volatile!! But true value? No idea now.
